Bridgestone Re003's?

What are people seeing/paying for these tyres at the moment?

Bridgestone have the buy 3 get 1 free offer but I'm still quoted $900 all up for 215/45 R18's from Tonys. I saw on another thread some one paid like $840 for 235 R19's. I'm waiting for the tyres to come up from ChCh so if I paying over the odds I've still got time to ask the question

cheapest way is to buy through bridgestone with the buy 3 get 1 free deal. They should be around 250 retail

For the R18's? Bridgestone quoted me $310 each + $32 to fit the free 4th tyre. Tony's are doing it for $900 total. If this is $250 retail I should be paying only $750odd

Haha they're taking you for a ride. Cost was like under $200 for 18s last I checked. Pretty sure retail should be around 250+gst. Shop around (prices could have changed for all I know) I'd say they're quoting above retail so they can cover the loss of profit in the 3+1 deal. It's a **** company design, they have literally no rules around pricing or anything, so you get some guys that are just dicks and price full retail +$20 a tyre fitting and then you get other who will gladly give you a nice price. Maybe mention you're in a car club and see if that helps your cause

I think the 215/45/18 is an odd size. I got quoted under $300 each for both 245/45/18 and 265/40/18 during the last special.

Good to know though, will check out my local Tony's once my Nitto Neogens and Falken 914s wear out. Can't wait to get some decent rubber.

It's not a common size these days. Shame since it's the OEM size on these cars. I had one Bridgestone in Thorndon tell me they can't order that size at all and tried to talk me into 225 40 18, as it's much more common. But due to my height, I can't go any lower/wider on sizes.

I went to another Bridgestone, and they ordered me in 215 45 18, no questions asked, and were actually the same price/cheaper!

If your car has a Cert, changing tyre sizes doesn't effect it. The height on the Cert Plate is the relationship between the hub centre and the guard, which doesn't change when changing tyre profile/width.

The Cert does usually lock you into one particular wheel size i.e. 17 x8. But not the offset.

None of the wheel dimensions change the hub to guard distance.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
