Wrx Sti race

What do you guys think of this video? I know its a game and there are so many variables that probably are not in the game but if the race happened irl, how close would it be to this? Personally I was surprised by the results of the race but what do you guys think?

Bollocks to that, the 22B would whup them all I reckon. Much lighter, and if you believe the 22B only had 276hp then I have a very fine bridge for sale that you will certainly want to purchase.

It's a relatively long race (a mile at a guess?) which means outright horsepower will start to have a greater effect than power-to-weight ratio, and since Forza is apparently using the "official" power figure (gentlemen's agreement 280hp lies) it's always going to be at a disadvantage.

I like the look of 22B very much but is it that quick?

 

I have seen some Best Motoring drag and track races with feature 22B and others JDM (EVO, STI, GTR etc) but it lost to the others in most of them.

understand as it features your RAR. Unfortunately Best Motoring never had done one on my S202.

yeah I think its a mile long.

Yeah if it was 1/4 a mile it could be different for the cars with better power/weight as you say.

perpetuating the myth...

 

back in the day tests of the 22b showed no extra power over the published figure.

the advantages of the 2.2 were more torque and flexibility.

a standard 22b is no faster than a stock sti v5/6 coupe.

 

a bigger surprise was how well the 2015 car did in the drag race.

being wider 22b would probably handle better and extra torque would help pulling out of corners. 

 

as to 2015 STI seen a vid of a Golf R thrashing it in a drag race.......disappointing.
