Plan to lite upgrade Legacy BP

I have a 2007 Legacy GT B-spec automatic that runs out of mechanical warranty in July so I want to start planning now.  My goal is just to do lite upgrades and what ever gain I'm pretty much happy with not shooting for greater than 200kw and will probably end up 160-180kw atw,  My car is stock except for the Genome exhausts.  I don't want to go the DIY/online tune route.  The last AK dyno showed I was running quite rich and only got 125kw atw.

I'm after some feed back please and then I want to get it down to a refined list with part numbers or suppliers, which I figure anyone else can use in the future he wants to go the same route

(I'll keep this top post updated) - updated 21/2/2017

Here's the basic things I think I need, what do I change? what should I add?

1. Whiteline? rear sway bar (don't need front too?)  Still looking for options around this

2. Subtech downpipe ($425 including GST) $195 to fit

3. Do I need a 3 port boost controller - GrimSpeed $300 or one from Dtech (have to cut wires) - $150

4. Don't bother with pod filter?

5. ECU tune DTech (Can I drive my car from AKL to Tauranga with Subtech pipe fitted and stock tune or do I need a safe tune first or fit pipe down there)  Sounds like yes but granny drive

6. TCU tune??  Unknown

1. You can get them as a set which is a 22mm front and 20mm rear. Can @evowrx still get whiteline stuff cheaper?

you'll want the whiteline endlinks and Cusco rear swaybar braces.

2. Could get the Subtech one, there's a few used ones around for cheaper than that. Or be hori like me and just whack the cats out.

3. Yea get one, and by that I mean a 3-port solenoid, not a controller with a 3-port.

Can get a Grimmspeed one that comes with the correct plug and bracket, or spend half that much for one from DTech, same solenoid, just doesn't come with a bracket or the correct plug.

4. No difference at sub 200wkw so don't bother unless you want it for the noise.

5. Yea can drive down with a downpipe on, just don't drive it hard.

6. Not sure

In reality I've spent very little on the performance side of things to achieve ~190wkw. Lots of backyard style stuff.

If you're looking for a subtech downpipe I still have one for sale at the moment in the parts selling section :)

Yours is for a manual unfortunately and I don't want to mess around with fitting issues as I won't be putting it on myself

1. I'll look into the whiteline combo and cusco

2. Couldn't find any references to XForce ones but thought I saw an old post about a Legacy Xforce downpipe

3.  Is this the one?  FortyOne have it for 220inc gst but + Freight from presumable US?  So is this the same part https://www.vividracing.com/catalog/grimmspeed-electronic-3port-boost-control-solenoid-for-aftermarket-turbos-subaru-legacy-fa20-1012-p-151361233.html

4. Yeah so just a noise maker, I'll skip it

5. Its 2.5hrs to Tauranga, so I think I'll get them to fit it down there rather than drive down risk it

Getting closer to july so getting back into getting things planned out...

If I use the Dtech 3-port - do they cut the plug off the factory boost solenoid and wire it on to the Dtech 3-port.  As in the don't cut the loom end do they?

Down pipe - Does this loose me any low RPM torque .. ?  The Facelift BL has no cats/less cats?  Just want to make sure there is a good gain and little to no downside (prefer none)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
