ABS Light up

Hey guys,

 

My BP5 had an ABS light error on last night and it was saying to get ABS checked out, but then this morning the message disappeared and the light hasn't lit up since.

 

Anyone else encountered this problem before? Is it something I need to take to the garage and sort out? Or is it fine since the warning is gone?

Once is fine if it has cleared, it probably means it lost the wheel speed signal on 1 corner for a moment.

If it keeps coming back, you probably have one of:

-Damaged ABS wheel speed sensor

-Damaged tone ring (part of the hub on these cars)

-Faulty ABS computer

 

I fought my way through this list from top to bottom before resolving my ABS problems, but then again it was happening to me every time I drove the car.
