AEM fuel pump install issue

A while ago I got an AEM fuel pump and have not installed it yet.

I took another look at the kit today and it comes with a plug/connector attached to exposed wires that clips on to the fuel pump. Can I just install the fuel pump and not have to bugger around with wires and stuff or do I have to use the one that comes with the kit and almost need a degree in electronics to be able to install it? (Idk anything about electrics so I cant do this stuff myself)

If the connector on the pump matches the one on your factory wiring you don't need that adaptor piece.

Was the kit advertised as being a plug n play option for a V7?

It was made to fit my car but idk if it was 'plug n play' I might take another look and link the page to the exact one I got.

I'm fairly sure the plug just works.

 

Don't forget to use your factory "sock", not the one that comes with the pump.
