4POT Brake Caliper Upgrade - Mistake?

Hi All

I have been reading through the forums, and I think I have made a mistake. 

I purchased the 4 Pot Calipers (Subaru - not Brembos) before reading the forums. 

From what I have read they will not fit the early year 96 - 98 . solid 5 spoke subaru OEM wheels.

I just need further confirmation before I consider what to do next.

I do believe that is correct, the wheels won't clear.

 

Which is no major issue, considering technically as you are changing calipers and potentially rotor size as well, you are supposed to be certing it.....

They will fit with the Impreza 5 spoke OEM wheels of the same era. Although I guess you don't want to drop to 16"?

Thanks for the help guys.

I got too enthusiastic on trademe. 

I am most likely going to upgrade the wheels to 18x7.5 - 5x100 

I really want the 18inch wheels from a Legacy S401 or a BP Tuned by STI set. 

So I will be keeping an eye out for those.

Have seen a tbSTI 18” set on a 3rd gen and they look way too big. Imagine it’d be the same or even worse for a 2nd gen
