Car covers - Experiences/recommendations

Yes, i just started a thread for car covers..

 

Garage Queen is getting dusty. 

 

Anyone have any experiences/recommendations on decent car covers? 

 

Subaru NZ has some for around $270 ish, just want to see if theres anything better for the $

I tried two different ones from Ripco (one was 'Gear Up' brand and the other was Repco branded) 

 

Had them on the race car when it was on axle stands outside - Both were utter S*** for outdoor use - neither of them lasted through the weather at all 

 

If they were used inside then they both would of probably been fine....

I got one off 1 day bad mistake haha! it ripped while i was pulling it tight to put it on. unknowen brand. 

 

Recently I have been to supercheap and got one which i have linked below. its not water proof but it has held up to all wind this season has thrown and isn't a harsh material.

Yes I had A sparco one off trademe that was great - left no marks etc i gave up using it though as i got sick of putting it on the car each night as I had a Black Legacy and was a bitch to keep clean

I've got two of the more expensive "gold" model ones from Repco, Repco brand. You would really struggle to tear and have lasted sitting in the weather for longer than I like to admit.

chucked that on my car during winter parked outside at the time while i went away for few months for basic. came back, car was mint. nothing to complain about, didn't tear. not that it's particularly windy in auckland though. i put bricks on the corners to keep it all down.
