Just wondering can a single turbo setup work  with a twin turbo ecu ? i am wondering if anyone has done this ?  i understand that the bbod would still have to be plugged in but not use to to control boost control , i am happy with the rev D setup and i have a rev B bh5 which i may just single turbo , just wondering if anyone has done this ?

I'll throw the cat in the bag

I have heard of it yep! but that was about it : they (facebook) did not stick around to tell of reliability or suitability

& not sure why you'd want to actually

V3/4 STI / WRX Ecu plug in & as above has been documented rather well on these forums the steps & tricks to Single T life

most usually got the extra step & get a Link, cos yeah... thats where your going anyway!

I tried this with a single turbo conversion into a 94 Legacy Rs tt early 2000.Car ran fine, but once boost exceeded primary turbo tt boost ecu switched to limp mode.Might be different with your the later model tt ecu,but still requires a lot of work to the solenoid box.Eventually wired in a aftermarket ecu, removed the solenoid box and was able to make changes to ignition timing and fuelling.

well i may have to set a few weekends a side to do this , and i have a single turbo ecu but i think i may have to change the cam and crank pick up trigger wheels as i am sure they are different in the single turbo engines as when i have swapped these engine in the past i have come across this issue i will keep my BH5 twin as it goes very good after reducing the vod to 200 RPM but the bg5 can go single  turbo

the rev d ecu runs the single setup better but you have to have the matching manifold and sensors as they are different to the rev b u have.. also you are right about the crank wheel being different as well so swap to a rev d or v7 type

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
