BPE immobiliser, central locking and stuck door

Hey guys

 

Just picked up another BPE for a great price, but along with that came a few issues. 

1) Previous owner said immobiliser had been removed as it had stopped working. Said that removing this also made the central locking stop working. Keen to reinstate these.

Door locks move with drivers switch on doorcard, and security key symbol flashes on cluster but key buttons do nothing. 

Having a look under dash today I found the remains of at least 1 aftermarket alarm minus the main module. All a bit wierd...

Anyone know where the imobiliser control unit is as figure that's a gd place to start? And the central locking unit?

A wiring schematic for this system would be a godsend if someone is willing to share it! 

 

2) Rear drivers side door is locked shut, no resistance from outer handle at all, inner handle appears like child lock is on.

I've managed to get the doorcard off with the door closed, anyone know how to get the lock to release from inside the door?

No idea on the top question as yet. There are 2008 Legacy service manuals available that may help but they are for US/LHD vehicles so should only be used as a starting point and not a definitive answer to part locations or wiring layout.

For the door lock, with the card off you should have access to the cables behind, one of those cables should still be able to release the lock. Give each a pull and push to see which one will do what.
