Still way version 7 stolen 2009 (2013 partially recovered)

Well for those of you that know me I had the version 7 stillway sti. It was stolen last night in Auckland city. back window will have been smashed out. Probably a pro job but if anyone knows where it is or gets offered hks parts seats etc then please let me know. Its blue, gold volks wheels and just about every mod done to it. Zerosports body kit and its very loud! The bonnet vent is also custom and faces the windscreen. Any info please get in touch. I might even offer a reward for its safe return.

Id love to get it back, but i reckon now that i wont be seeing it again. Police sent me a letter saying the investigation is now suspended, and that was dated the day after it happened. I wish they would concentrate more on finding criminals. They aren,t stupid, they know most of them, but there is no money in it for them. They would much rather spend their time catching yougoing 10kms over the speed limit or lie in wait for a noisey vehicle to go past. Its very sad, but hey what can you do!!

thats ultra gayness!! its rather depressing when they suspend a investigation.. was it stolen in an area that could of been witnessed by other passerbys?

It was stolen from wellesley st between 12pm and 8am. Just up from sale st. I have checked for cameras and no joy. Could of been witnessed but who knows?? It would of been towed as the autowatch alarms are a nightmare andsomeone in the know told me that. Its not turned up in any chop shop yet either so could still be in one piece. Who knows.

My BD5 was stolen 2 years ago and never heard a single thing from it! You can't trust the police which is such a sad thing for a country!

Hmmmm, well cameras and stuff would be good to install around town using our tax payers money, instead of wasting it on other crap! The guys at autowatch had a call from a tow company last week to change key fobs on a car at a warehouse. Im following that up to. Ill try and find this bloody car! The good thing is if the computer turns up, only 3 people in NZ can tune it, and its coded in japanese also!

That happened to me - a day after the investigation started, they suspended it. Broke my bloody heart - it DOES feel like they don't care.

In fact when they did find it, it was because a resident called up and asked why there was a roughed-up, trashed Subaru sitting there for a week outside their house. Yeah...good investamagatin'. Then I had to pay $250 to get it back!

I was lucky as hell too; thieves didn't want it once they discovered it was N/A.

At least your car and parts are very distinctive; if it wasn't stolen to order and shipped overseas, then any parts that show up - like the ECU as you mentioned - should be readily recognisable. If nothing else, we'd all love to see these guys crushed for this useless sh!t...best result is that happening AND the car coming back!!

Best of luck with it bro. I KNOW the pain and heartbreak because it recently happened to me...so many of us do...we feel for you. And want that car back!! Consider my eyes peeled.
