parallel twin turbo kit for B4 1999

hello all

Been talking to a mate and he told me there a kit to make B4 run both turbo's at the sametime, does someone know were i can buy the kit or how to make one??

kits? i think he may be talking about teh vacume line kits, theres a plastic T and some vacume line in it and a diagram.

dont know how well they work, have not tested myself, spend the money do it the right way

havnt seen the kits around for years, all it was was 1 meter of vacuum line, some plastic 'T's' and some blockers ( use a screw and cable tie )

and a small instruction with a picture, which i think was the above pic. cost like $80. major scam and i wouldnt trust it to be honest.

Above changeover the turbos are running in parallel anyway, so I guess all the kit does is bypass the valvey thing that controls where the flow goes. Probably makes it pretty laggy down low too at a guess.

yea, all this does is keep the butterfly in the secondary turbo to intercooler pipe open, the secondary exhaust valve open, looks like it does a few bits to the sensors, maby for the ecu and something for the secondary dump valve, probably keeps it closed.

BE/BH, parrallel can be done, with removing a few bits and adding some bits, and some resistors,

no need to tune ecu, i never did, never had a problem.

Mine was parallel and it made pretty laggy compared to stock. That was even with aftermarket equal length twin scroll style headers. IMO not really worth it unless upgrading turbos to get more top end ie 2x TD04s
