My cousin\'s staying with me at the moment, he\'s an AVS installer and chucked an s5 in my gtb, took him mere seconds to disarm and bypass the existing 4 star uniden lol, it was a complete joke

Really happy with the new installation, really tidy, completely hidden, and suddenly my voltage is better throughout car (no more light dip, starts faster etc)

Got ours back from body zone in Hastings after wife decided to play stockcars with the next door neighbour, also got the bumper done while there as well, looks tidy again.

Fixed m turbo oil drain leak today, did it from underneath on the hoist, heaps easier than taking the turbo off, just popped off the drive shaft and dropped the arm out of the way.

Also plumbed in my oil cooler with a sandwhich plate and braided line set up, goes good, gets fricken hot though.

It now takes 6 litres of edge 10w60 i.e more than one bottle, lucky im high roller.

Got engine back from possum bourne motorsport with new head gaskets, strip and check over and relapped exhaust valves on number 3 cylinder.....was found in a leak down test. Confirmed to be 2.35l with 280dergree kelford cams and about 9:1 compression ratio

Engine back in and getting last few things tidied up before tune in a week, excited as to see what they can get and how different it will drive

my stomach saved my car, decided to go to subway at the bombays as i was heading to hams. hopped out of the car and noticed a pungent coolant smell, looked under the car.....puddle....F#*k..... topped up the reservoir and limped home. all while towing a trailer, and keeping an eagle eye on the temp gauge. got home got out the pressure tester. turns out the coolant return hose on the primary turbo is split...soo yeah. hopefully i can tackle the task without pulling off the turbo. it is in a really awsome place too....

washed, waxed, cleaned the break calipers, pulled all 4 rims off and wheel cleanered the s**t out of them like, 3 or 4 times, the inside edge is nearly as clean as the powdercoated front. pulled out the carpet mats, cleaned out the interior and polished up all the plastic surfaces... ooooooohh it\'s shiny.... productive day, casual 14 hours work hahahaha

NEVER use the "ice" liquid wax... that s**t is nasty... easy to apply, it\'s a bastard to wax off and get a smooth finish....

Fixed a whole bunch of shit

- Replaced rocker cover / spark plug gaskets / bolt washers

- replaced both steering rack ends

- replaced both inner CV boots

- replaced rear sway bar links

- replaced 4 struts with lowered springs

Picked up a Genome axle back from rex-leggy

Fitted up no probs at all and looks 100 times better than the frankenstine muffler I had

Got around to wiring up a toggle switch to keep antenna down and only up when reception sucks, hooked into illumination too, also found the bulb inside the heated wiper switch had died so replaced it, AND THEEEENNNN replaced pocket above stereo with a better fitted one with the lip on it, 5 bucks from supplier can\'t complain about that

That one was screwless, had a slot and top allowed it to stay in without any issue

Used it to take the dog to the park, looked good in the sun so I snapped a pic.

Tightened up rear seat hinge bolts after finding one on the floor and the seat flopping about.

Next modification will be a wash and if I\'m feeling dangerous I might vacuum the interior.
