Drove past mine at the panel shop

My loaner is a BH5 2l N/A... It's weird, it's like the same car but minus 200hp

Also doesn't set off car alarms or light up the neighbourhood on decell which is ****

You're right they're oval and a bit on angle too (top to bottom), smaller diameter than HKS. Another thing I like about them the bottom part of the muffler body is flat, not oval so you don't really see the mufflers from behind (very much like stock).

Bought it some much newer/ lower k's Bilsteins.

As I figure I should chuck some new grease in them before putting them in, does anyone know what sort of grease to use in them?

I've found conflicting views on lithium vs molybdenum on teh interwebs.

Unbolted the exhaust and adjusted the hangers to make the left and right mufflers hang at the same height. It was really annoying me that the left was 2cm lower than the right. Lifted the whole thing up a bit so now I have bit more ground clearance too. Win win

Gave the K&N Panel filter a good clean and re-oil too

Fitted my mates BOV to my TT legacy, not as many chu chu noises as hopped for even on full atmospheric. Oh well, fun while it lasted. Back to stock tomorrow. Also keen to do a catch can install cause i'm getting some smoke on gear changes. Anyone know best way to deal with the three(?) breathers going into one or two ports on a catch can

A catch can won't fix your car smoking

The BOV being quiet is likely due to the "hose 10" Tee off setup they have stock

(yesterday) Hid from the hail. Was worried about paint/dent damage. Was driving down Blenhiem Road when the hail hit so found a building just off it to hide behind.

Did some experimenting with my headlights to make em look a bit more aggro

took wheels off, put back factory 16's, took stereo off, ready for new owner.

installed front swaybar and endlinks.

endlinks are a pain. hopefully its all put back together correctly and theres no massive tension in the system waiting to buckle/pop/explode.

Last night, swapped my flogged-out Cusco rear tophats for Noltec camber adjustable items.

Moved the car parking it in, drove it up and down the street a couple of times, found another suspension knock/clunk so fixed that as well
