drove from Auckland to picton- You don't realise how much more fuel is used when dealing with gull pro until you are driving long haul and only get 100kms to a quarter of a tank haha. Definitely going to get a reflash when I get to wellington next year. haha. happy with how she drives though!

Use the 98 from BP

I can definitely see the difference, I use 1 or 2 L/100km less compared to 95 you find in most gas stations.

(and it's always better for the engine)

front k brace on, feels a bit tighter.... could just be placebo.... but now I reckon the rear needs some love.... worth looking for a rear strut brace?

Yes, rear end is usually the first place most start. Makes one of the largest changes.

rear strut brace or rear swaybar?? definatly do the rear sway bar! Someone in the club sells Whiteline ones which I have on the B4 and it made a massive difference! Rear strut braces are a little harder to find

Laille Beatrush do a rear strut brace for the BH mate, dunno if they mke much difference, still plan on getting myself one in the new year. Let me know how ya get on if ya get one before me

Didn't do anything to my car, but I did buy a car...meet my new 2004 3.0, which I am affectionately calling beige-lightening...generally wouldn't got for that colour interior but I got a sweet deal on the car!

Cusco do one too, had in my BH and it felt really good - straight away there was much less rattle and squeaks at the back, the rear end felt more responsive too (mind you though I put some upgraded sway bar links at the same time, might have added a bit of "value" too). Would love one for the BR but seems like a mission to find

You'd probably won't notice as much in the sedan though as they're more rigid at the back. I had one in my BL too and the difference wasn't as apparent as it was in BH.

nah mate, still drinks like a champ on bp 98 too. just need a tune hahha.

Finally finished lowering the Forester. After many broken tools and much frustration. Although I did learn more about the car and that quality tools are a must. Second picture is the stock height.
