Got myself another little project to work on. Black-out theme continues :)

You painting them? Wrapping? Or.... STI make a black set which cost moon beans. And you've magically found some? xD

Nice. Shouldn't be too bad wrapping or painting those ones since the buttons are already black, its the one painfull part about the 4th gen ones having silver buttons. Kinda want to get hold of a STi wheel and buttons for mine but the cost to benefit ratio is waaaaaaaaaay off.

Yeah that's the plan, contemplating on whether to paint or wrap, any suggestions? Haven't tried yet but looks like the buttons can easily be removed leaving bare shells.

Black bits would've been nice and easy, have all the part numbers needed for a conversation. The cost hough...

If you can remove the buttons then painting would probably be the easier option

Contact a wrap shop to get a quote on professional wrap? Example: http://www.thewrapshop.co.nz/

Shouldn't be too expensive as you can just supply the bare plastic so they don't have to reassemble etc.

Otherwise DIY paint :D

I reckon paint will look better and more "natural".

Semi-gloss black and a few layers of semi-gloss clear.

If they can be removed, as well as all the electrics... then search hydro dipping. So easy and you can probably DIY.

Haven't thought about it.. who's good and not overly pricey in Auckland? Reckon I have an idea what pattern I might go for.

Buttons are separate units and can be taken out completely.

A whole bunch of UltraRacing bits finally arrived.

Took 2 days to get from Asia to Auckland, than another two days and numerous phone calls to get from DHL depot to my address.

You'd expect a better service from one of the priciest couriers. ¬¬  EMS is just so much better.

F'cked her up. Okay, it was yesterday. Front bumpers smashed to s**t, bonnets folded up, radiator support pushed back, left headlights rooted. Can't open bonnet at this point so unsure of any other damage. Anyone know if when the write cars off whether you can scavenge parts off them first?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
