The gc8 got a Wof, then I bought a jerry can and drove to Cromwell to get a tank-full + jerry can of 98 for a tasty $2.25 per litre... ouch.
not tooo bad. 2.13 in Kumeu, but I remember when Nelson BP didnt have 98 and you could only get it at challenge... 2.80 /l I think was the highest I paid for it 🤣🤣

Hurts a bit more when you have to drive 40mins each way to get it (hence the jerry can). Still cheaper than a detonation related big end failure I reckon.

Cromwell has the cheapest fuel in the area, in Wanaka 91 is $2.15 per litre at the tourist petrol stations last time I checked.

$2.80 is just silly money.

I was about that away from the nelson challenge, so I understand your pain. I eventually gave in and just used 95 and a colder range spark plug lol

Try the Allied pump at Upper Clutha Transport, when I left it was $2.08/L for 95...

I'm still running 95 in the wagon since it is just not worth it to drive that far for fuel in a daily. The gc8 can get the special stuff since it is only on "fun drive" duties.

That is exactly where I get 95 for my wagon from, with a skeggs fuel card it is $1.95/L for 95. Paying monthly.

There's more leg room in the back than my mum's M5 but the wheel base is the same as a Nissan 350Z

Took the outback driving through some nice puddles yesterday on the way home from work. Had one that splashed right up and hit the roof!

Was lots of fun. (all done safely, no children or animals were hurt during filming)

The road next to the river floods when its really high tide in some spots due to the earthquakes. Had the strangest experience yesterday as well, driving down New Brighton road and looking out the side window and seeing a kayakers head at the same level as mine!

Haha, yeah the WRX might be a bit low for those puddles, also there could be huge pot holes hidden under there.

Next time you want to go puddle driving let me know:)

(there used to be a small section of road that always flooded in South Brighton years ago, we nick named it puddle lane)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
