Subjective but yes imo they sounds great on wrx's and are near perfect for a daily driven car; don't drone, nice note, awesome quality, STi part (if that's your thing). They're definitely not the loudest exhaust out there though if that's what you're after.

I have a standard STI exhaust which sounded deep and rumbly but been driving without the tip since it rotted off lol. Til I get some money to learn tig welding and weld on my ebay dual 3" muffler. But I'd say the quality is nice, it's thick stainless so less likely to rust and sounds nice plus is STI. If loud is your thing get Apexi Megaphone or HKS or ebay cannon... anything that comes with a silencer will be loud

Not sure sorry, the ones I'll be selling are Bridgestone RE002s, 2have good tread, other 2 have good tread but inner edges are worn, probably best for someone wanting some good track tyres without forking out for new ones, will do a deal for cs members when I sell them

never had RE002s only RE003s but would say they're directional due to the type of tyre that they are.

Anyone looking at getting this cheap deal should considering avoiding

Went to look at this today as I was in the area - never seen boot rust so bad + such a bad cover up job (looks like its been repaired badly 3-4 times and last repair has also failed), no fault of the people currently selling it - it was a trade in

also has a misfire - was going to offer 2000 cash - popped the boot and DANG, no way jose

nice one @THUNDA I use meguiars hot wheels which is probably the cheaper choice but ive got to really get in there with the water blaster to take the road sludge off. Just out of interest are your tires directional?

hey @swamp they are not directional but the tires, they are damn good though for driving they stick so well on the road... @THUNDA i did get a wof with them bro about 3 weeks ago so they definitely good for wofs

I'm getting my GENUINE 22b style front bumper back!

Yeah, some of you may remember this front bumper was on my car.

So, turns out... That's a genuine STi item. I know right, didn't think they made STi parts in Fiberglass... So I tracked down the bloke who it was sold to (Zenki did it on my behalf as I wasn't able to sell it myself at the time), and he's more than happy to sell it back to me.

@readosnr Cheers mate :D

Now to just get my front guards and garnish repainted blue so I have a completely blue car again haha.

dragons breath - ocd.

There's a similar product, less aggressive but possibly more thorough, made by motomuck available at repco. bloody good product.

what did i do today....

baked my headlights. yep, stuck em in the oven. well, just the drivers one. swapped out the chrome look insert for the original matte black one. swapped in my new hid lamps while i had the headlights out. lined up the headlights. the left light isnt moving any more with the level switch, i shall investigate at a later date.

old hid's were a bit dim and starting to fade purple. upgrade time lol

flashed back the e-tune now i have all the little issues sorted, time to continue with the tune. slow process.

found a fuel rail leak. common occurrence on the gd/gg chassis, when it gets cold the fuel rails shrink and a small amount of raw fuel seeps past the hose clamp. its fine once its warm.  only way to fix is to rip the intake manifold off as the screw clamps are upside down. -_-

How did you do it?
I just sawed off the insides of it, filed and sanded it down till it was all flat.
Bought gutter guard from Bunnings. Just the plastic stuff, metal is better but harder to mould around the frame.
Then glued it in. Will slap some cable ties on it tomorrow.
Not perfect but better then stock I reckon

Another track day and another gear box...... this is the second, second hand gearbox I have had and this one is making the same noise as the first after 100kms. When the throttle applied and in 3/4/5 gear you can hear a whine. Pretty sure its the front diff bearings like the last one. anyone had this problem before or know what the best way to go from here would be?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
