What have you done to your car today?

Painted horns blue and parts of strut tower and crank case breather pipes below the intercooler red and gave everything else a clean. I have oil catch can but there is literally no space in the engine bay to put it... Tempted to get relocation kit for battery as there is a nice spot in boot where it can not get in the way and then I will have room for that and other stuff.

I had forgotten what a mess our engine bays are, stock. Throw half that stuff away and you have way more room :)

Tbh unless you're tracking it then a catch-can setup, IMO, will turn into quite an expensive mod that does exactly F***-all... if your engine is breathing oil heavily enough to affect performance then you have other issues.

Needs more lower now

Haha, I think I'll leave it like that, it's already low for gravel roads

GT86 wheels?

Yep

@delta why?

- Way lighter than my previous wheels (made by Enkei, 7.2kg per rim) => better acceleration

- Smaller rolling circumference because of smaller tyres => better acceleration

- Smaller sidewall => better turn-in

@1randomkiwi

5% of difference in rolling circumference so the speedo should be 5% out, not that it was right before to begin with ;)

Very interesting video. It's too bad they don't state the weight of the different wheels they tested; makes the performance comparison incomplete.

A comparison between the 16" and 17" GT86 wheels was made by the Japanese and they got a faster lap time with the 16". The 16" rims are 2kg lighter which probably explains the result. Tyres are generally the same weight (or very close) between 16", 17" and 18" versions.

Hmmmmmm this kit looks great. $250 for bonnet with scoop and grille. I'm very tempted....a15425933879b48b2ce9aa353742de79.jpg

For me personally Ive never liked those bonnet scoops on Legacys. Not sure why, but I like the more understated original scoop.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

      Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
