Ooooooh very nice! Which ones>?

Was going to get the street performance but MCA didn’t want to supply that model to overseas customers. So I ended up getting the Street Ultimate with 7kg front and 5kg rear, which are the spring rates from the street performance for a GC8.

Slightly softer than @YoungOne who has 8/6k on his ultimates iirc.

Yeah after weighing the options I decided the street performance 7/5k would be best for the weekend/street driving the car does. I talked to Anthony at RSS in Auckland, paid for and ordered a set, then got an email back from Anthony saying MCA didn't want to supply them to NZ. They offered me the Ultimates with the spring rates I wanted for a very small amount more so I went with that.

I'm also keen to try them out on the somewhat bumpy roads around the south. If you say yours is only a little stiffer than stock with the dampening turned down I guess my setup should be close to stock albeit with less travel. I'll write up my thoughts in my garage thread once i've run them through their paces. I don't have a huge amount of experience with other aftermarket 'coilovers' other than a small amound of driving in a GGB with BC golds and the tein/hks that were in my wagon when i bought it.

Gave painting one of my calipers a crack, photo makes it look OK

Looks way too glossy for high temp paint, coats might be too thick or is the paint not dry yet? You’ll get a more uniform finish if you start with light coats and then go a little bit heavier once you’ve got something for the paint to build up on, definitely need to allow time between coats for it set though.

You could try using a sanding block over the Subaru wording if you want some contrast? Raw metal on black

It's Duplicolor glossy, and yeah I did go a bit ham and the coats are too thick, but looks OK for a first timer.

For the Subaru writing, you're pretty dead on the money, but I will use silver paint :)

Covered pedals in industrial grip tape. No more foot slipping when the pedals are wet.
it’s clear so not changed the look.

originally I was going to find red and green tape and colour code the pedals but that was way too much wasted tape as it only comes in sheets.

It’s 50mm wide over the whole pedal including the rubber studs.
it seems good so I may slice the studs flat later.

but my suspicion that I had a issue with the diff and steering in the left has been confirmed with a set of dash lights turning on 😤

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
