Received some gadgets from China yesterday

The smart car charger is a Bluetooth to FM transmitter. I am the kind of guy who like listening to FLAC files but burning CD's is too time-consuming so I'll see how it goes with that.

All the gain from the quality of FLAC will be lost over the Bluetooth and FM Radio compression :(

CD is the easiest format. I'm considering purchasing a FLAC compatible headunit for reading via USB.

I installed some stuff, and got some stuff in the mail. A shift knob from Raceseng in translucent red (already had the silver core, so just got a red one):

Some red aluminium surrounds for the AC knobs:

And lastly, a shiny new Process West Verticooler kit arrived, courtesy of @mlracing.co.nz, which will be installed this weekend along with a Boomba short-shift plate, a Perrin brass shifter bushing, and a Perrin steering dampener lockdown:

@KiwiJoe how do you like the feel of it?

Need a new one but really can’t make my mind up. There’s a few stainless one's I really like the look of but not keen on dealing with the heat issues.

Yeah but I'm thinking about getting a Spotify subscription anyway, I will definitely lose in quality but will be more convenient.

Problem with FLAC is that I have a limited amount of albums and I end up always listening to the same stuff.

The shift knob feels great. It's a lot heavier that the factory knob (which is light and feels pretty rubbish), which makes shifting easier. It has a Delrin cover so heat and cold aren't a problem: this is why I never looked at the solid metal versions. Considering it's something you touch all the time, it was definitely worth the upgrade.

Not many in the just over 5m range. Most large sedans/wagons seem to be a smidge under. So i’m putting my money on an Audi Q7

You are getting close, probably sounds about the same from the outside anyway

Gotta love a full tank for under a hundred and a range of 1,000km though.

How big's the tank?

My Dad gets around 1000km a tank in his 2017 Mazda 6 2.2 diesel.

I have been installing a hydraulic handbrake for the last couple of weeks... took a week and many attempts to bleed it... still doesn't work.

Very annoying. Either it still has air in the system though the foot brake feels completely normal... or I got the wrong size master cylinders,

too big. It's a twin cylinder unit in order to keep the diagonal redundancy.

Hmmm.... Maserati Quattroporte, Lexus LS, or Audi A8? (guesses in that order)
Don't figure the XJ Jag is your style.
Unless you've gone back to JDM and grabbed a Toyota Crown? O.o

He's only (or more like already) 2.5, there is actually much more room at the back than what 535 Touring offered, somewhat surprising really. I reckon you can super comfortably seat two medium build adults at the. 2 door version is more like 2+2.

In my view she's more like a sexy speedboat, one of those classy Italian ones ;)

Hiya, would anyone in/near Wellington have a spare passenger floor mat for a 2006 Legacy b4? I’ve looked at a few aftermarket options but I’d like to find an original. Cheers!
