abs didnt give out, but due to the engine being stalled, vacumm assistance wasnt avaliable, and i decided id coast it down the road and into my driveway... so just before i got to my driveway i jumped on the picks abs activated then i slid onto the grass that runs down the middle of the driveway and into the garage door

/quote]yeah i would of been raging to but i don't think i could ever kick my car, i guess its the fact that i'd have to get the whole side repainted to match that stops me lol

Im just soooo fustrated with the damm thing, been having these electrical issues since easter last year... finally had to let it out

Grrrr, i had a look under the car when i got home, its just a bloody good scrape in the normal place that it scrapes, anyone want a C-west bumper for their BH?

spun the car round on the hill last night so i could start the gearbox removal process... with no brakes i might add..... fun times...!!

Today

well i have fitted all four brembo calipers, the braided lines and the special brakets care of Jamie (thanks mate)

Have all but got the 5MT ready for removal now, starter and bellhousing all detached - have to buy a set of "punches" for the one axle pins and we are good to removel :)

Still awaiting the rear rotors to set the rear calipers up correctly but hey...

Have inspected my steering rack and im fairly sure its the two seals in the input / output lines that are knackered so will have to sort that.

awaiting my old rear axles to put into my diff to sort those issues.

Has been a good day all in all..

Got in my car in the school carpark and got home noticed a black rub PLUS missing paint on right rear bumper.

Since I work in IT I will DEFINITELY be checking the CCTV tomorrow. Not even a note to say woops...

I HATE IT SO MUCH. Its really not hard to write a wee note and then face the mistake and fix it... >:(

A smack mark to match my key mark.

Yet another reason for me to start getting into painting...all FOUR of my corners on BOTH cars have been done now!! >:( F**ks you off how reckless and irresponsible people are with other people's property.

When it comes to solo gbox removals it aint that much fun! I dropped the box out by myself with the bro inlaw was inside, he came wanderin out to see if I was still alive after he hear me yell out, "C*nt of F*ck*r" and "Faaaark", things went silent so he decided to have a look. The bloody thing had slipped off the crossmember and dropped onto my chest & with the little room between me and the floor the bastard thing then started leaking the left over box oil down my shoulder and into my hair >:( ! Soooo Funkytown, you might wanna wear your swimming hat to do it!

Anyway, the rex has just been treated to new rocker cover gaskets, & rebuilt power steer pump. I learnt my lesson to NEVER go to a subie dealer for parts... BNT only had 1 cam plug left. Repco were out but offered to get em in overnite. No good for me buddy I need it now. So steeling myself for a butt raping I went to the subie dealer.... BNT sold the cam plugs for 3.50, bloody Nsn Bays Subie charged me 12 buks plus GST. So 3 cam plugs and a lighter wallet now I was off to the home garage! The only bloody difference was the dealers gave them to me in a little plastic bag with a subie emblem on it. NEVER, EVER, go to a dealer!

Took the sub for a wof & my luck finally has run out, Finally Failed for the adjustables & need to be certed.

there is a new testing guy that has started, a couple of months or so now, everything was going smooth as usual, then he was looking around & asked for my cert plate? Sweet as it's in the "TRAY" compartment & it's not a plate it's the old school paper cert 8).

I have been using this for years with no problems, It does say STD mcpherson strut lowered springs & this is the first time someone has accually read it correctly.

Well he say's those are adjustable's & it say's here..... & it's not auto it's manual ??? Oh yeah ive changed a few thing's I said :D & it all bolt's up even the turbo ;D. (FAIL) updated Cert Time :)

You still get a bit o paper with the metal plate. Its just not worth the paper its written on.

man up funky drop it out byyourself hahaha...

i did my first one like that..

Just dont lie directly underneath it just a touch to the side so it lands half on you then you slide it off and roll out from under the car...

Iv since done one with 2 and reckoned it made it more difficult as someone else is in your way the whole time cant get in a good position.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
