15 years ago brand new V7 STis were not being bought and thrashed in quite the same numbers, or by quite the same people, as their then nearly ten year old predecessors.

Swore at it, cos I found a pinhole leak in the top radiator hose, f#$k.

Oh well, time to put the blue silicone hoses on then I guess!!

As well as fix the worn steering bits I found while putting in the urethane bushes and changing the springs back to stock over the weekend.

Car rides much better over the munted roads we have, no more bumpstop/ spine abuse!

Lucky we have a spare vehukle what that I can drive, heyuck heyuck, even if it isn't a Subaru...

Rotated manifold. Modded throttle body. Got frustrated with buggered O ring on the a injector.

"Spare" car is getting a little out of hand!

I went out and did a before and after, same stretch of road, 10 mins apart.

What it doesn't show is that the stock tune pings so bad it sounds like a bag of marbles is under the bonnet, like farkn jesus I've heard hiluxes run less rattly. Turns out that trying to stop it self destruct results in it going way better too, who would have thought

Took the Legacy Wanganui->New Plymouth and back. For the first time in the ~3000kms I've done since Christmas, I didn't have ~100kgs of gear in the boot or 5 people or a caravan. The car felt like a go kart. Tempts me to go home and strip the coupe out.

After 3 years I finally made permanent brackets for my Intercooler. Nice to have it not rattling away on the firewall anymore.

Picked up the new feet - covered in white plastidip which hasn't been applied correctly (to thin)

Will finish cleaning them up tonight

The dude gave us an extra wheel for free - it's beyond repair but will make a great hose reel!
