  2. What do you guys think of this video? I know its a game and there are so many variables that probably are not in the game but if the race happened irl, how close would it be to this? Personally I was surprised by the results of the race but what do you guys think?

  3. Better idea: Buy a mid-90's WRX so you don't get a big unwieldy boat Pay $3k for it Spend the rest on petrol and tyres caning the S*** out of it. When it dies, buy another one, combine the best bits of the 2 and sell the rest. Rinse, repeat.

  4. Appreciate your input. However. Read original post, follow TM links, have a decent look through the auctions. PS: kumara.

  5. Thought I'd fire up a new thread to chat about the racing/simulator car games that you are currently playing - Forza, NFS, Project Cars etc General chitchat, photos, you name it. Since Forza Horizon 3 has just come out... here are a few snaps from myself and other gamers. Show us your creations! 6. Around a grand or so for tuning, depends on who you go to etc. The cert would only be if you want to run the Rally Coil-overs that are with it. Has some normal (inverted strut) suspension with it though too, so can just throw that back in and not have to worry about it. All legal though, WOF'd Reg'd etc. And just down in Dunedin so not all too far away. Not sure if I mentioned, it's a GF8 V2. Off the top of my head: Rebuilt late last year with full genuine seal kit, new timing belt, water pump, tensioners, pullys etc TD05 Turbo Link G4+ 2 sets of suspension (one set inverted strut, slight lowering springs, another set is adjustable Revalved suspension for rallying) 3 sets of wheels, all factory with Road tyres/Rally Tyres/Snow tyres Front upper and lower bracing Parallel fuel rails Rising Rate FPR DW200 Fuel pump Sump guard (just visible in the first photo) probably a few other things I've missed...

  7. If you're getting 230kw with a Link with launch control, or you're just really good at launching Subarus, and you're prepared to drive it like you stole it, low 4's. Slightly more for the tubby new ones. As above.

  8. Bollocks to that, the 22B would whup them all I reckon. Much lighter, and if you believe the 22B only had 276hp then I have a very fine bridge for sale that you will certainly want to purchase.

  9. i'd say 5-6 sec as most munters of 230kw cars put on the crappiest of tyres.

  12. DacerX's car had a fuel leak caused by the seal on the fuel cradle being perished. Under boost/acceleration it would cause fuel to bubble out from the back seat, around the area highlighted by OP. At first we couldn't think of why petrol was bubbling from that area.
