replace flexi with straight pipe, you won't regret it! Make sure to coat in thermal paint and heatwrap or retain the factory heat shields.

Those manifolds and up pipes are rubbish, had 1 crack and leak at the collector. Brought a new one then the up pipe flex fell to bits and went through my turbo.
Pretty sure this is correct. Factory turbos, stick with factory diameter up pipe. If moving to bigger turbo/power then consider large diameter up pipe.
Pics?!
I have an 02 Forester XT. Recently lowered it on Tein sport springs on factory shocks. Got about a 50mm drop. Also put an Forester STI rear sway bar on. Looks far more like a wagon and feels less boaty. Also just bought a V7STI intercooler and a STI Forester intercooler splitter. Should hopefully get it fitted this weekend.
Highly recommend the handling mods.
Model: V7 STI
Displacement: 2L
Mods: Holset WH1C twisted, Link G4, 1600cc Injectors, Process West TMIC, Llama Engineering custom all sorts of stuff
Fuel: BP 98 Octane
Tuner/dyno: Chris Wall, STM Dynapack
I suck and can't find my dyno plot. 268kw.
I wouldn't be hard driving or doing power runs with any signs of DET.
Lower boost, up fuel pressure or get a real computer and get it tuned. There was a g4 storm on facebook for $850 yesterday.
Thought I'd start my own gallery of the things that I get upto when I'm bored or have too much time on my hands.
Firstly the Foz when I got it, but with new tyres thrown on
Then dropped with WRX struts/springs
New Bendix ultimate pads alround and a quick respray of the brakes
an STI 22mm sway bar in the back-Hands down the best money spent improvement ever!
