  2. After converting my father, from his Nissan Qashqai to a Forester SJ5, I took the Forester to Cooper Tyres in Howick for a 4 wheel alignment this afternoon. Dan was very friendly and helpful, speaks with his knowledgeable truth. High quality service and yet not very expensive! See what you guys think if you are over this way. 4/180 Moore St, Howick

  5. See if you can pick up a cheap guard from the wreckers to play with. I have done this with other things I have tried to modify and has come in handy as you get to practice without ruining your car. I found out that I didn't have the skills I though I did when trying some panel work so was a good thing I spent a little bit of money to practice rather than forking out heaps to repair my s***ty job.

  6. @delta Apologies for the lack of replies - have you ended up getting any answers/insight? @ADIKT Saw you driving down Kohi Road the other day! Was laughing my head of as we both saw each other last minute and snapped our heads side ways! ps. when are your new wheels going to make an appearance? Been awhile since posting in this thread - here are some photos.

  9. Yeah they did! Glad I found this place haha. Seems far more useful for information! How the hell are you pulling 867nm of torque!! That's ridiculous! Yeah I have my dyno sheet which shows my boost curve etc. It peaks at 23 and then drops right down to around 16psi at the end of the rev-range which i've been told is normal. Also thanks for the invite to this page! Seems way more reliable than a bloody fb page haha. I may put up a photo of the sheet just to show what it's doing Yeah i'm running a front mount to stop that haha. I just need to stop being lazy and get myself another window washer jet so I can relocate it to the front bumper and squirt from both sides.

  10. If you need to do compliance with your imported vehicle, this is the best place so far I've experienced. Straight forward, no fuss. Friendly family business since 1998. Much better than VINZ who is over priced and charged me $1,100 for a low volume vehicle certification (LVVC) 2 years ago which included a tow to the East Tamaki certifier, then back to VINZ, then again to get the LVVC plate on the forester = 4 tows. What a rip off as I was only notified afterwards with the invoice.
