  1. I'm heading up on Sunday (probably go to the Southward Cars & Coffee beforehand too) - but will be in the Cappuccino this time rather than the Blitzen 👍
  2. Good to meet you guys yesterday - was a great event and the organisation was awesome. Will have to try and get to more meets... Matt
  3. Yeah it might take us a while to get in I guess?
  4. Maybe we could meet by the Avalon Duck-pond at 10.45am on Sunday?? Matt
  5. Yeah I’ll be there unless the weather really turns - prob around 11am?
  6. Ha no worries - I love 'em, although plenty seem to hate them
  7. I was keen to go & take the Legacy - happy to be part of a CS turnout - not sure about all day tho... Matt
  8. Where can I order some Gotasuby?
  9. WRC say they can remap it to 98 (they're happy with the ECU), but it's not cheap and they're not exactly close to Welly!
  10. cheers man - yeah the tune's not easy and only WRC seem to do it in NZ?
  11. Just a few pics after a cut and polish (forgot to clean the wheels though!) - car is pretty much how I want it, but still debating about taking it up to Napier for a Ecutek tune at WRC Developments...
  12. Yeah I was really keen to keep the OEM look - I love the dancing dolphins on the Sony ;D Fitted the Sony XA-300 Input adapter today, works a treat - give you 3 inputs in total (1 is used by the existing CD) and I just mounted it in the glove-box for ease of access: Headunit now gives you an extra "AUX" option after "CD" in the menu: I also replaced the band expander at the same time with a decent one (great FM reception for the first time ever!). Looks like the unit needs a bit of clean next (and the volume dial repainting!). Matt
  13. Am looking to add an AUX-In / iPod input to the standard Sony Blitzen headunit in my BE5 - from what I can tell from the headunit is a Sony MDX-G77REC and the CD is a CSX-44 unit. The Japanese manual at http://www.minidisc.org/manuals/sony/sony_mdx-g77rec_mounting.pdf shows using multiple inputs (with an XA-C30 splitter), and by the looks of it the CD player currently connects to the headunit via Toslink & Unilink so I\'m guessing I will need some kind of Unilink splitter like the XA-C30? I\'ve tracked down an old "Sony XA-300 Auxiliary Input Adapter", hopefully this might work and I don\'t need an XA-C30! Has anyone else fitted an AUX-In on this headunit? Thanks, Matt
  14. Sure they must be better than the Triangle tyres on mine ;D
