  1. Will give it a nudge, cheers. Definitely a Saturday job, lack of sunlight after work is getting annoying lately haha
  2. Can't say I've checked then. A solenoid in the passenger guard? Whereabouts is it exactly, access-wise? I get the feeling checking the cat won't be a 5 minute job haha. Will be number 2 on the list
  3. gidday, been a while since ive been here. been a while since ive had issues with my wagon (only about 4-6000km between warrants) 1994 gt twin turbo manual legacy wagon bg5 chassis (without the coil pack on top of the engine) lately, for a few weeks or so, i have driven myself nuts hunting a problem that throws no codes. low range revs, so im assuming primary turbo/primary turbo control issue (im guessing low rev range in the primary) under load, hard acceleration, in any gear, in that lower rev range, the acceleration is incredibly jerky. i have (for reasons unknown) changed the knock, tps, engine temp sensors i have also cleaned out the solenoid box, including the lines, and stayed away from the MAP sensor. i have even tried a 2nd box as well, to eliminate the possibility of a dodgy bit in the box. partial throttle, leads to partial boost, with no issues. 2ndary turbo boost seems fine (which is odd, coz i believe the primary boosts at the same time as well, once its exhaust gas has got the 2ndary up to pace) anyone else had or know of a similar issue? long winded description i know just trying to get as much info out here as i can to avoid any obvious questions, keeping in mind ive had no codes
  4. Was this ever sorted? I have similar issues with a 94gt wagon that only runs like ass when engine is up to temp. Cold boosting, not that it's a good thing to do seems fine, but splutters around and occasionally also tacho briefly dies. Possible coolant temp sensor? But no cel's
  5. im sure this has already been asked, but looking through the most relevant post, i cant seem to find the info im after... without looking at them, is there a standard turbo type that this wagon will have? all im really wanting to do with mine, is drop the low end turbo, to upgrade it for a bigger one. what would i currently have, and what is the easiest option for an upgrade? was hoping for the chance of a straight bolt up swap that the ECu will auto-compensate for. any advise out there peoples? FIENDHARD
  6. hey there fellas... about to take my 94 gt wagon for a warrant and have noticed that one of my big yellow foggys arent going. upon having a quick look into it, it seems there is no easy to get to connector as with the rest of the wagons lights.... was wondering if anyone else has taken them out to replace the lamps in them, and how i do it? the more i look at it, the more it seems i gotta take the front bumper off to access them, to me this seems excessive, or is this just the way it has to be? ???
  7. haha, wicked! cheers for the link.... should come in handy, just got the first Dunedin frost this morning
  8. gidday team... ill be quick. owned a 1991 gt wagon for years, my flatmate moved to brisbane and i bought his 1994 gt wagon... the only thing about it that i dont get is that by the handbrake there is a pushbutton type switch with a picture of what appears to be a windscreen (front or rear, unsure) with a demister type sybol and wiper blade on it. i hear a click around the back of the passenger seat when i press it, but for the life of me have no idea what it does, i know what it doesnt do, but its just sorta getting to me that there is the button in may wagon that i have no idea what it does. any help?? (cheers in advance)
