  1. Got it off the founder of JZX NZ and he is pretty convinced so I am too [quote name='Swindog said: Give me. Swap deal with my wrx Nah bro it\'s my baby
  2. Genuine Mark II hardtop, SSR reverse meshies with 4 inches of dish, only factory manual in New Zealand, factory roof spoiler, factory Mark II monsoon guards, and an interior more immaculate than my living room.
  3. Think I have got it all sorted. Hopefully. I hate how temperamental these cooling systems are.
  4. Does anyone know if this can be done without taking off the intake manifold?
  5. Found the problem. The output hose for the heater core feeds into a metal line which T joins with one piece going up into the manifold and one piece continues under the manifold so I am off to Strongs to grab another piece. Will take photos etc. of how to do it for everyone who, like me, have absolutely no clue.
  6. I hate hose hunting it is the worst. I really hope the intake manifold doesn't have to come off because I am far too lazy.
  7. So after a night out driving with friends. I parked the car at home and thought I could hear a faint hissing noise as I walked inside. So I opened my hood to inspect further and low and behold there was a very slight puddle on top of the passenger side bank. The hissing noise subsided and then the occasional bubbling noise of air/water coming in or out of a hose. All night my heater has been fine (occasionally flicked it on to defog the windows aside from the last 30 minutes or so of driving) so I know that the heater core hasn't been blocked up. When I squeeze the heater core or top radiator hoses the noise also stops. I cant find the source of my water leak though. It sounds as though it is directly underneath the intake manifold but I cant be sure and I thought there were no water hoses under the mani. It doesn't appear to be the IACV hose (the clamp has fallen off this in the past, and the puddle was on the otherside of the motor). So basically I am wondering what hose it could be that I am missing that is my culprit. The last thing I want is another hg issue so the car is not being driven till I find the problem, but I am relatively sure I have seen no fluxuation in the temperature gauge. Come on guys. What stupid little hose has split or had a clamp come off?
  8. untouchablez... what do you expect LOL Back in the day we (LND) had a pretty good relationship with them. I like that car tbh
  9. Jack front of car up, turn heater on full heat and then top up as bubbles come out of radiator cap, do this till the thermostat opens and the radiator fans come on.
  10. Do you have the digi or mechanical interface for your heater etc.
  11. I actually don't really mind the wing to be honest. Gives it kind of a soap box racer look haha.
