  1. Got another one added to the collection. 1984 Leone GT. JDM EA82 Turbo, 3 spd Auto, Air con, Power Steer, Trip Computer, Digital Dash, Electric Windows, 4 wheel disks, had Air Suspension but removed. Just over 100 thou k's, drives like a dream, no rattles, fantastic condition and a real credit to previous owner/s. Plans: 5 Stud Conversion, LSD rear, Air/water Intercooler, 15's and Lowered. Happy days.
  2. Hey 95SVX, i think i met you at Flatnats 17? If you're on my twitfacepage look up this group, "New Zealand Subaru, brumby, Leone, vortex, old school group!" , join up, I'll let you in, as an honorary XT owner and all.
  3. Someone please buy this so i don't have too ... https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1568716319
  4. Feel free to PM me, I'm in Rangiora, I've done the 6 stud redrill myself in the past so can offer advice, plus have contacts if you want adaptors. You're never alone with a old subbie ;-)
  5. Cheers for sharing That Guy, It's never to late to live your dream! like me haha
  6. Thanks for the offer, I thought I'd go custom at this stage, the Legacy air/water seem to be a really tight fit due to the center windscreen wiper motor, but they are a nice all in one solution, do you want to PM me a pic, so i can compare it to the one i test fitted?
  7. Thought I'd better post a pic of my latest family member, had it a wee while now to be honest but kept pretty quiet about it.. NZ new, second owner and only 77 thou k's now, rust proofed when new so very very tidy, everything works including air ride, digital dash and not a single squeak or rattle while driving. Got a few reliability plans for the EA82T to keep it alive forever (under bonnet air/water intercooler and stainless exhaust plus a few other tricks learnt over the years), but keeping it as standard as possible will be the mantra throughout. Bit of a dream car for me to be honest, i even had the Tamiya model of this exact car/colour/interior as a kid!. Joins my Brumby as a permanent member of the family along with the everyday drivers.
  8. by "old" do you mean a 1985 model, as apposed to a 88 model say, or do you mean a dumped in the hedge type vortex?
  9. Hey Jef, Sorry for taking so long to get back to your pm's about the rims, the spirits have sold sorry and i scrapped the rest of the 13's, no one wanted them. The 15's I had on trademe were my spare set but I've put them back in the storage container with the rest of my early subaru gold. I'm still thinking about listing the other sets of 14's, but I also use 14's on my Brumby trailer, so it's handy to have spares. I'll keep an eye out for some hotwires for you and let you know if i come across any in a shed somewhere. Cheers
  10. I have a number of 14" rim sets , Steel and Alloy but i'm not the kinda guy to sell things off really, i don't need the money and i like having spares for spares for spares ya know? I do have a set of leone hubs converted to 6 stud (6x139.5 toyota), but i'm not sure you will find the rims you want in 6 stud? It would suit a brumby owner who wants 4x4 tyres better i think. Although you could get some sic 17 / 18" 6 stud alloys and put low profiles on, it would look wicked. John.
  11. Thought i would post a few pics: A Brumby i saved from rusting away on a farm down south, on the way back to CHCH Same recovered ute a few weeks later, after rust proofing, new aluminum tread plate tray and roll bar. In the back tray were new tube bumpers and goodies. On the way to being primed and painted etc. A good friend of mine needed a new forestry truck and had to have it, plus i have too many LOL. A Brumby i pick up the other day for $200!, still reg'd, 200odd k's, good nic and been looked after, just been sitting around for a while cos the gasket had blown on the right hand side. Popped new motor in, runs like a champ! John.
  12. I think you forgot one i own, well i own two of them ;-)
