  1. If you want to blacklist someone, click My Trademe, then My Blacklist at bottom right and then add their name to the blacklist.
  2. I know on my GTB primary stage is 11psi and then secondary stage is 16psi. Don't know to much about the later twin turbos but I would have thought there would have been a bigger difference between first and secondary stages. 14psi on the primary turbo seems a lot when both turbos it's only 14.7psi.
  3. Finally got a chance to wash my car today, after all the rain of the past month. Just a few photos with the iPhone.

  5. Taking off the intercooler is easy, its the putting back on thats the mission. Well thats what I find, but it is doable.
  6. Awesome to see the NZer win against all those aussies. And a Subaru to boot. Just goes to show raw horsepower isn't the be all and end all.
  7. lol, thats just VOD, you will either get used to it or like me not get used to it and now considering a single turbo subaru.
  8. Passanger side compartment in boot. Where the jack is located.
  9. My GTB does this, only when its cold though.
  10. Gen 3's were introduced in 98.
  11. 96, 97 same thing. If EJ20R engine, yellows and orange afm.
  12. My manual 97 GTB 'EJ20R' has yellows and orange afm. Auto GTBs had different less powerful engines so there could be a difference there.
  13. Yeah I have the standard exhaust still on mine. The controller is located in the boot, that opens the butterfly valve on the secondary. You can have it open permanently by hooking the cable over the little notch. It's not that impressive though, only gives you a little more flow. I would rather have proper muffler to get the suby rumble.
  14. Vehicle Dynamic Control System. Subaru's version of stability control. I know later models have an on/off button, but MY2000 would be first of the VDC, so probably fuse gone. Also if fuse gone ABS doesn't work as well.
  15. They are both the same size on the Gen2's. Not to sure on the Gen3's.
  16. Are you sure it is plugged all the way in. The tip of a aux cable is left hand channel and the further up (the ring) is the right channel. Might not be contacting properly.
  17. Yeah, find the wire that controls the aerial (my car was yellow/black although I think sometimes its blue), probably be one that is not connected to anything at the moment. Or find a wiring diagram for your car that shows the colour of the aerial power wire. Most of the newer headunits don't have a separate aerial output, so usually you just connect the 'remote' line (the one that controls an amp) to the aerial. However this will make the aerial rise every time the car is on. So what I did was buy a switch from jaycar and just put the switch between 'remote' and the aerial wire. All the aerial power wire needs is a constant positive voltage to be in the up position. Then I just push the switch that has replaced one of my coin holders when I want to listen to the radio.

They are not strapped, strapping two amps together forms like one super amp where the positive terminal of one sub goes to amp1 and the negative to amp2. Here, he has two subs and two amps and they are just sharing the rca, remote and power cables i.e daisy chained. Whereby the sharing of the same power cable could possibly be the problem.

So they both work independently but not together in parallel, I'm guessing not enough power from the battery or the power wire cannot deliver enough juice. I would also suggest if not the case, that the ground from each amp goes to the exact same place on the car.

When you say 'linked in series' I hope you dont mean that they are powered in series. Like so Battery -------Amp1-------Amp2------Ground Because that will be a problem. You want Battery -----Amp1-------Ground Battery -----Amp2-------Ground Each amp needs 12 volts. If thats not what you mean and your referring to the rca cable not power cable, then forget what i said. lol
  21. If your talking about Gen II then rs is sedan and Gt is the wagon. Can both be manual or auto.
  22. You can get these DTMs from mag and turbo http://www.magandturbo.com/pages/wheel.asp?aid=-984487399
