  1. New my buy price on them is crazy, of course I will supply club subbers cheaper than 1k but they ain't cheap. In saying that I do have a second hand one here, 0221628848.
  2. The simple way is to use a hi/lo to give allow level signal for your amp, some amps have this built in. Wire up as normal
  3. I am about to start replacing my audio in my 05 but retaining the factory head unit, I\'ll put up info on that, you can adapt it to suit your needs
  4. Some revC came with equal legnth and yellow side feeds, I had this one. I did single turbo then swapped to v7 and top feeds but made an adapter to fit throttle body
  5. some of the bh\'s got an even length manifold, thats the good one
  6. a set of focal axcess components start from round $300, and sound awesome just off the head unit, then go up from there

  8. they are nice, I don\'t have prices on me, got a pair in store though, I have the slim versions on my land cruiser, they go seriously hard!!!!!!
  9. I can sort you out a pair of Focal components if your after good stuff

  11. come have a look at the focal Bam deadening
  12. if electric speedo then jaycar do a kit
  13. I can do ya an optima for WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY less
  14. With one of our alarms we put the siren "130DB not 110DB like a star rated one" in the dash and hook the horn up to honk or another outside, that will stop your car getting tossed.
  15. Nothing will protect against a tow truck, if they really want it they will tow it. However a monitered GPS can help find it. A good alarm will help to however a bad install will let it down. AVS are good if installed well. The other is Cobra, Add a drive card to the cobra, they are also louder and the siren is waterproof and has no key so it can be hidden. The module is nice and small. You do pay a little more though. We often couple the Cobra alarm with the AVS tracker. But at the end of the day install is everything!!!!!!
  16. I\'m planning on 8, If it works, clarity and control, its right on the limit though so may end up at 2, At 8 Ohms the amp would just cruse, hardly get hot but will be wound rite up. As for the Jaycar amps I have not personally had much to do with them, however I would not go there myself, I have to be able to back up products I work with if that makes sense, Funny story, supposedly fusion come out of the same factory as sound magnus, I haven\'t looked much into it however. 1 ohm is close to a dead short, While It may run down that low I have seen plenty of 1Ohm Stable amps die with constant use, comp use e.t.c fine, crank as much as you can, but think about it as a sub moves the Ohm\'s change, a 4 Ohm sub may vary between 2 to 6 Ohms, where do you expect 1Ohm load to go.
  17. it was to, fixed, now there is two working Links, Crazy!!!!
  18. we use a ground snake and run the camera wiring down the roof lining, really easy
  19. you have to watch the cheap amps, they will kill good gear, I see it the whole time, good subs, cheap amp, "Jaycar, sound magnus e.t.c" one thing to look out for is the THD specs Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) @ RMS Output: 0.01% THD at 4Ohm load 30% Rated Power:<0.3% The second is a cheap amp is distorting more at 30% output than a good one at max rated output!!!! If you want a mean deal, Its the same as I am running, very efficient, Im not running a cap (Granted I do run stock twin batteries). http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-stereos/amplifiers/mono-1-channel/auction-695651596.htm If you want a good battery I\'ll hook you up on a optima. you want to try and keep away from running your gear at 1Ohm, Im planning on running at 8Ohm
  20. there is that, the reason most tuners hate the megasquirt is people screw it up then ask the tuner to fix it, seriously don\'t be scared of it but do expect to do a fair bit of it your self,
  21. Its not that hard to put together and you can buy PNP options from DIYautotune now to.
  22. I\'m using a megasquirt in my kit car. I\'m very happy with it!!!
  23. its one of the easiest ones to go through, the others are easy enough to with a groundsnake.
