  1. what are these wheels seen this at the nats i got the same wheels but duno what they are? i had tein bg5 rear struts in my foz 2000 sf5 bolted straight in and had it as low as it could go with the keepers in so im not sure how low with out but it just tucked an 18" into the rear guard.
  2. did they make sti style forged pistons for the RX engine?...if you know what i mean just guessed it was a wrx engine but aftermarket forged pistons are normally shiny and have a smooth finish (no casting marks)
  3. yea my libero did too that was turbosmart supersonic. it idles fine so picking not airleak. ill check hoses and adjust bov maybe strip it and clean it when i get time
  4. i have two of them things that bolt behind headlight that goes too guard resonator if you know what i mean i was gonna chuck them out end of week. if you want it ill sus freight out
  5. i thought it was too much fuel not enough air as its after the computer has metered the air it makes a big air leak. its on gsr not wrx btw will try tightening bov its a racepro blaster
  6. is there any other way of getting round the full atmo bov stall problem other than blowthru? im running standard ecu.
  7. says 35mm2 but algood 32mm2 what im quoting too so will work fine. just remember where you put your battery is a tad shorter than the average person who uses there back seat. buying old truck jumper leads/welding cable is a cheap way of doing it the cable lasts forever 32mm2 cable by itself $11p/m agreed on cable placement
  8. $145 free freight pm me to order: 5m cable cable lugs x4 heatshrink cable ties positive terminal negative terminal battery box optional FREE FREIGHT run it in the car shorter by a 1m+. just run the cable through a grommet if you are really worried wrap it in insul tape. the cable doesn't really move its normally a tight as fit and nothing pulls on it. true funky i missed that dry cell dont need box so $125 w/o box
  9. dont get light cable you need welding cable which has double sheath mint protection or 30mm2 cable minimum. heavier cable prevents voltage drop and it costs more than $10. if you dont you will wreck your starter no if its when...also lights dim etc keep it as short as you can and run the earth to the car body. keep your positive feed away from any speaker cabling to limit fuzz/static noise. run it in the car under the carpet better protection. you will need: heatshrink/tape 5m of 0-35mm2 cable battery box cable ties battery terminals x2 cable lugs x4 something to mount the box with $170 off trade me or cheaper off me...
  10. earth to body works fine but scratch the pint back to shiny steel for a good connection. heavy cables bloody expensive but dont shortcut on it
  11. i was looking a sti pistons as cheap upgrade for engine when i pull down i over research everything someone who builds ej20s should pass judgement i can only speculate and subaru have no idea they work in a computer which doesnt say forged or non forged...
  12. i dont understand semi forged i have no idea its just what people say. some people say its impossible. sta do semi forged which are cast and forged skirts or some sh*t i really have no idea. there description as follows: oe spec cast piston anodized head, eutectic piston semi forged, teflon skirts chrome top rings
  13. sorry bud didnt mean to hijack probably more of a tech post but would be good to know ive spent hours sifting through sh*t on the net trying to work it out. ive dealt with the seller hes a good man been inside a lot of engines just thought he might clarify differences...
  14. depending on model i believe, various info all over the net. standard sti v1-2 forged sti v3-4 semi-forged diff comp ratio sti v5-6 standard sti v7- no idea really im just playing keyboard warrior lot of paper research but someone knowledgeable can confirm
  15. im talking insert style mounts in the pipe with 2 screws not old box style...
  16. just randomly not altogether related but so people know... the insert style genuine part number 22794AA010 is a nissan/subaru replacement i work in parts also have firsthand experience. my genuine one shat out and aftermarket replacement came in a genuine nissan box maybe it will last longer than 5 months this time lol.
  17. my v5/6 runs insert type nissan/subaru style too as did my 2000 forester. straight on plug not the right angle style if you know what i mean...
  18. good to see this thread pop up answers my twisted/flipped mani question. if i twist i can flip... ;D
  19. genuine turbos seem to go the distance all the evo 1-3 big 16g have done 100-200000kms and then they go ona a gsr and do x amount more.nissan garrets seem to be the same. guess its something to do with not bein chinese...
