  1. Same here, another +1 for Alex and the guys @ Highbrook Automotive. Most down to earth, help you whereever they can kinda guys. Easily the best garage I have ever dealt with. I am an extremely unhappy customer of Innovate Subaru (ex Innovate Autotech) and like most customers of theirs, are complaining using our feet, and leaving. I realise this is old, but hey! People want to know who to use!
  2. Alas no. Instead of just pressed in there with the nut at the bottom like the STi's, On the bilsteins there's the nut, but the bottom of the shaft is threaded (or certainly looks like that, and other commenters have said the same thing) into the the housing, once the nut is off. Stupid thing :-\
  3. Gentle tap, as it to move the threads a little? I did try that, but no avail... Or as in gentle tap and the catridge will come out too? Just got pissed off at them in the end and put them back together ;D
  4. Bit of a dredge: I'm about to repack my bilsteins (from a BE5) with grease now. I have the nut off of the bottom of the strut, but can't get the damn thing out of the body - i.e it won't unthread - I'm trying as hard as I can I've tried freeing it up with Inox too, anybody got any ideads? (I have a pic, but don't know how to attach it sorry)
  5. I bought a towbar for my BE5 from Strongs for $175, a trailer socket for $15 and 2m of trailer wire from SCA. I spent an afternoon installing it and hey presto, towbar! Sorry about the small dredge; just adding my $0.02
