  1. @patrickc22 flick me a PM on Monday and i'll see what i can get FJK-7123HD for through work. Should be a bit cheaper than $799.
  2. I'm with Classic Cover for my turbo Honda. Full Cover and detailed every mod and is only $380 a year and $500 premium, but mines slightly cheaper due to max mileage of 8,000kms per year and with it being a 1989 vehicle is regarded as " Classic "
  3. This is the one i got - http://www.rhdjapan.com/trust-greddy-turbine-joint-pipe-impreza-gc8-gf8-gda-gdb-gga-ggb.html Currently $230 shipped via DHL, takes 4-5 days to arrive. Otherwise if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks choose the cheaper shipping option which is about $200 all up
  4. I've got one of those PLX devices at home. Got it for my V7 RA but didn't work because the factory ecu was modified. Worked perfect when plugged into the mrs Mazda 6 wagon. I downloaded and used the Torque app. Its only been plugged in a couple of times and has been sitting back in it's package since so pretty much brand new I don't need it anymore so happy to sell it if you're keen. Just flick me a PM if you are.
  5. Will be interested to know what WRS are like too as i drive past them everyday as well. Arrow are good but pricey. Have had previous experience with these guys but they are on the North Shore http://www.wheelfixit.co.nz/ their quote to do the same job as Arrow was half the price.
  6. There's Uncles Club at Hampton http://unclesclub.co.nz/event-info/ or NZ Track Day at Pukekohe https://www.facebook.com/pg/NZtrackday/events/?ref=page_internal or there is the Open Test days at Pukekohe as well https://www.pukekohepark.co.nz/book/6271vS4TsQYhIcpuizRQyhl1/ this is the one i did when i had my RA. I would recommend Puke if you've never done a track day before. Good track to learn on. Definitely noticed the prices going up the last couple of years too. Will be keen to join if we can get a group together.......will be in my Honda though

  10. Project Mu HC+ You can have these shipped via DHL for $238 from RHD. Take about a week to arrive from Japan. Not sure what that pricing is like compared to the Hawk's but i personally found these good on the street and track.
  11. 1985 AE82 Toyota FXGT 18 or so years ago, back when $5 got you 5 litres of gas. After i sold that it was a 1996 EP91 Toyota Glanza V.......my first turbo car.
  12. Another option is via the bank which i did. On my RA i was paying $900 premium and $300 excess which wasn't too bad Was previously with State and was paying around $1100 premium and about $450 excess
  13. Nice cars but expensive to run and fix. Mate was struggling to get over 370kms to a tank. Sold it about a year later after he bought it.
  14. Man, some nice Subbies out there, good to see a couple of members cars in the top 4 at the moment! Mines so not worthy to be put on that site for voting.
  15. Yeah man, that's real good!! Im paying $900 for mine through ANZ bank who use Vero
  16. I'd be down for this....Puke would be my preferred location, like Kiwifozze said, this track is easier on the cars and a quite fun to drive

  22. Nice, did you buy these locally? Next time maybe try these guys https://www.facebook.com/ultimateleds I've been using them for the last 4 years or so on all my cars. The interior and park light LEDs on my RA have been installed for nearly 3 years and still sweet. Had them fitted to my Toyota Crown as well. All lights changed except for the fog lights.
  23. Lol...that stuff with the combo of a Sakura filter gives me an extra 20kw...you should try it sometime. Let me know and i'll sell you some Will definitely take both models for a test drive and see which one she likes best. i'll have to keep an eye out for a EJ207 Auto Sti model as well. Also from what I've been reading the S-GT is twin scroll and has 250hp which isn't too bad [quote name='Technikhaus said: Yup, carbon buildup,Car went into limp mode, so took it to the dealer that we bought it from, they cleaned it all out and sent us on our way, less than 100KM later, back into limp mode. We ended up convincing them to buy us a tactrix cable and the blanking plates so we could get rid of it Cool, cheers for that. Will definitely keep in mind!
