Gidday. 1st thing I would say is do a lot of research. What do you have in mind for the car ,Trackdays , hillclimbs. open road(long trips). or just a nice street car. what sort of budget for the build. Also look though the build threads on here. What is also good idea is whoever you chose to do the work check them out also!. Ask around its a small enough community. Alot of the older engine recon places are moving into the newer engines now(post V8) . Have seen some the work from another poster . Dcca . & is nice work. well established company. With whoever you choose even go as far as checking with the customers they had that weren\'t happy. How did they resolve there issues. were they quick to source parts. keep you informed . Or just spin you crap all the time! about when thing were going to be sorted. every person on here would have used 1 place or another. Some good, some very good. Some terrible!!. At end of the day these guys are taking your $$ so should go out of there way to be of help ,reasonable time frames & just be good to deal with. Gut feeling is also good if there place looks unorganised or it just doesn\'t feel right . Don\'t go there!. Its your wallet Your savings , Maybe a house deposit.(build budget dependant)
Any how my 2c worth good luck with it. there are a lot of options these days chose wisely
