  1. I used to have a 3.0R Spec B (miss Clubsub Sept 2017 if you got the calendar that year), sold it, and then bought it back (lol) now it has an X-Force catback exhaust on it, and I hate it. I want it to be quiet again. Does anyone know if the midpipe fits the standard mufflers, and would it be worth keeping the midpipe or just going back to a standard system? The car already has Raptor headers, but is untuned. Related: I might be selling an X-Force midpipe and/or mufflers so PM me if you are interested (Canterbury).
  2. Ordered as well, seeing as my car is Miss September. I'm really bad at turning calendars over though so hopefully this one doesn't stay on January for all of 2017.
  3. Taken in Canterbury. I have an 18mp original if chosen!
  4. I think you might be right. I just dug through the stuff I got from the car yard and it looks a bit lower than stock. That\'ll also explain why the rear shocks were leaking because the car only had 41km on it. They\'d done god knows how many kms. Mystery solved I think. The springs are probably fine to leave in there, they are about stock height (tiny bit saggy) but just 20-30% stiffer.
  5. Nah, brand new Bilsteins were fitted, the springs are not new. The part number on the sticker indicates the shock is the correct model for my car. If the mechanics changed my springs without telling me I will be pretty pissed, but I just don\'t see any reason why they would. I\'ll ring them Monday, but they\'re not going to admit to anything if they did or likely even remember.
  6. It\'s actually not the most even. It\'s not bad, but ever so slightly lower in the rear, makes it look like it\'s done 155,000km not 55,000km. It also came back from getting the shocks replaced feeling quite firm in the rear, not to say that\'s necessarily when the springs got changed, but I think the spring rate is probably firmer than it should be given it now has working shocks. Are the Spec B springs the same as regular BP wagon springs?
  7. Somehow my car has King springs in the rear, I just discovered it today while flushing the brake fluid. Are King springs even sold in Japan? It\'s not factory is it? I\'m the first owner from Japan, but the rear shocks were replaced under warranty shortly after I bought it (they told me they were leaking), but they were replaced with the correct be5-b832 Bilstein, so there should be no reason to change the springs. I\'m trying to work out how my car ended up with these springs in it, and if it might be worth going back to the factory ones, or even if these may well be the factory ones.
  8. Not very impressed. Steering wheel isn\'t straight (although tyres are worn unevenly so probably can\'t be too hard on this one) and still have positive camber on front left despite mentioning that he should check the camber twice. Reading was 0.30 deg, spec is 0.35 to -1.35 so said it was within spec and didn\'t want to set the machine up on the car again. Sure it\'s within spec but it\'s positive for effs sake. No one drives a 3.0 Spec B Leggy and wants positive camber on the front wheels. 3/10 wouldn\'t recommend Specialised Power Steering for wheel alignments. Now I have to pull the wheel off and set the camber bolts back to the factory paint marking myself
  9. A guy at work recommended that place but I couldn\'t remember the name, damn.
  10. I\'m at Specialised Power Steering at the moment. Rang them and they said bring it in now. Almost done so well see if the alignment seems any good.
  11. I\'m in need of a wheel alignment for my Subby. I\'ve had some pretty poor alignments in the past, sometimes requiring me to take my car back multiple times before it stops trying to steer me off the road, and given that the Legacy has more adjustments than my old Nissan I\'d like to take it to somewhere that actually knows what they\'re doing. Can anyone recommend a good alignment shop? Cheers
