  1. this... but chassis damage i would be inclined to agree to have a specialist to have a look at that
  2. if i had money i would grab that straight away as long as its in good condition even with minor things to fix
  3. i got me some black silicone that is used for the windscreen from repco.. ive put them on the part where there are gaskets but there is still a bit going through. i will try again when it stops raining there are a few hard to reach places in there so i guess i will have to do some by hand lol
  4. guys, my headlight has got some condensation on the inside and ive read that i need to reseal them.. question is which sealant do i need adn would it be available at repco or supercheap?

  14. The high beam is a regular h3 bulb. If you have the lightwerkz harness then plug the socket with the yellow rubber on the h3 bulb
  15. Yip, both straight to chassis. will give it a try and see.. hope it works or im buying me some bulbs lol Trust me, afaik I\'m right. ;D so funny thing today i just tested it with the suggestion but didnt work. i bought me some new bulbs too just to make sure and still no go.. :-\ anyone got a spare ballast i can test on my system? lol
  16. will give it a try and see.. hope it works or im buying me some bulbs lol Yip, both straight to chassis.
  17. ok wil give that a try.. what would i do to the black wire on the headlight itself? ground it to the chasis as well?
  18. basically i left this alone and tapped the black wire on this to the chasis
  19. yes i have a black ground wire coming from the triangle shaped socket on the ballast but id doesnt connect to the ballast itself. its just screwed on the bracket. what did was tapped the black wire that comes from the headlight (black wire coverd by orange wire cover) to the chassis and left the black wire from the ballast (black wire which is screwed to the bracket) alone
  20. checked that and its working.. tried to stuff in the original headlights, went on fine.. used the a light tester and was still fine
  21. yeah i did, i only used one pair which was the right side on the first stuff up.. but could be that too.. i used the other bulb and other ballast on the next try. still nothing.. would the bulbs be affected as well as the ballast when it blew?
  22. yes checked. i basing from that pic orange is on left and brown is right. swapped and they didnt blow... cant think of anything wrong.. what can you suggest i do next?
  23. yes i have the orange and brown instead of the blue and black then i plugged it red to orange 1st and brown to black, fuse blew, now red to brown and orange to black. nothing is happening. changed the relay just in case still no go
  24. no go on that.. changed the fuse, relay, still no go.. wonder whats wrong.. its just the low beam thats not working
