  3. V6 is a 2000 almost every year it has changed ownership that is if it is a NZ New example, or an import than its a different case again ... Most cars like these do change hands quite a lot if it handled by someone who is in thrashing and passing it on to the next person..
  4. Model: V7 STI Displacement: 2L Mods: Deatschwerks fuel pump, K&N typoon intake, turbo back exhaust Fuel: Mobile 98 Tuner/Dyno: Amit (Road Tune) / PBMS 217kw
  5. track day is still on the original track doesnt include the new part on it, would be nice to drive the whole thing though... the bikes track days are running full circuit now!
  6. i have done hampton with the subi before just the first and last corner you need to take it easy which is a bit of a shame but still alot of fun though! the guy at the track did mention that on street tires it isnt that bad but yeah who would want to take that risk....you can always over fill the oil a bit as well for the track and dump it afterwards
  7. welcome man! i saw your car at ajay's garage looked mint and the video on facebook this thing sounds savage!! would love to see how it goes and the power it makes
  8. @sobanoodle did the wagon come with brembos or that a special install you did? Wagon looks so hot !
  9. We have a cusco baby seat from farmers which was recommended by the facebook group as a great seat, we have the little one rear facing... He is on the passenger side and if we have the car seat in the front seat cannot fit anyone into it unless your a midget with no legs, it is a tight squeeze...thankfully we have a second car which is bigger and that can fit someone in the front seat and also the baby seat in the back....
  10. The Grinding sound you hear could be your starter motor playing up, turbo whine is normal when my exhaust was standard i could hear it as well but that was on boost though, if you do a slight accleration do you hear the whine as well or is it just under full boost, whine can also mean turbo is on the way out.. check you the turbo for any play and oil as well on the outside around the pipes and things, take the intercooler out completely and check the pipes for oil and also the intake pipe and just do a nice clean on them and see if that makes a difference... post up some pics or video of what you hear and see...
  11. oh yeah so much more fun to drive now! the radiator top went today on the motorway so parked at highbrook automotive gettting radiator fixed FML! guess it didnt completely overheat which is a bit of a relief. Nope still running the standard computer on the STI, just got a road tune done on it. WHOA !!!! they look brand new!
  12. put the car on the dyno at PBMS, made a decent 217kw at 19psi after installing a full exhaust system, nice jump up from 157kw with standard exhaust, so stoked with the power it is making now.
  13. i went and saw Julius on Saturday and got a dyno run done, top bloke and really knowledgeable as well... he took care of what he was doing on the car and told me everything that he did along the way...
  14. @Niran took his car to TP and he wasnt happy i think you might find in his blog about his car the outputs of the TP tune and it was terrible so he ended up going to DTech in tauranga....and have driven his car and flip it drives nice with the tune that dtech did.
  15. got the subi tuned by pappu finally, man it drives good! only thing left to sort out now is the oil leak and car will be in good tiptop shape again
  16. Thanks bro, will see if i can attempt that, heard all the oil will need to be dumped as well before anything and have to lift the motor up slightly for the sump to come off?? well at least the new xforce redline exhaust is on and whoa what a difference it makes to performance from the standard one...
  17. Took the car in to get the new exhaust system put in find out the oil sump is leaking so guttered another thing to save up to try and sort out in the near future
  18. is this the one on TM for $196 bux was about to bid on it as well but didnt want to start a bidding war lol when you can buy for $209....as i believe you wouldnt notice any difference on a stock tune, but probably a bit more quieter as in noise levels though the Walbro pumps are known to be quite noisy...
  19. lol now that is a model that every freaken subi owner on this forum would want to have!!!
  20. i hate people who do this! i have at so many times wanted to throw an egg or something at the guys texting and driving or talking on their mobile and driving, especially on the motorway in the fast lane far out, some people were born stupid i guess!
  21. i had done the conversion on my 99 B4 years ago with a V7 sti motor, was expensive back than but whoa what a difference it made to the car, i used the V7 engine loom but used my existing computer i believe, the guys at boosted performance had done everything engine and computer related to get the car going...
  22. Took the manky filter out that sits in the guard so much better air flow now and nice induction sound of the K&N filter...Also bought me a downpipe! cheers kwi_fozze for the hook up:D stoked! now to hit up Ajay for a fitment quote.
