  1. on the circuit board side (all the electrical componetry side) there will be/should be what looks like a square black component soldered on to the circuit board, this is the relay. The pins from this black square (relay) are what require the earth signal to trigger the lock/unlock.. very tentively use a test light to find what pins (should be 4 pins intotal at a guess) have 12v.. if no voltage on other pins, they are more than likely the lock/unlock, tentitively touch an earth on to them to see if the click and operate the doors.. if you are lucky your test light will do his when you probe them for power or not. Failing that, take the box into a reputable car alarm installer and they will show you in 3 seconds flat prolly look like this:
  2. Hey, has anyone done this on here before? i need to know the actual location (i.e. i knw its in tank, but where exactly) what are the steps and aprox how much. cheers GD

  6. this looks like a cool idea from http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=517638&highlight=catch+can
  7. hey, looking at doing a catch can setup on my leggy, my research shows that dual catch cans using non filtered type is the go, as shown below in pic: am i on the right the right track here? i beleive venting a catach can to atmostphere takes away the vacuume in the crank case, of which is there to extract the gases/blow by etc
  8. well i took out the sender today and swaped with the other leggy i have, that seemed to fix it (fitted my walbro) the subaru tanks are weird really, they have two sections divided by the room made to fit drive shaft tunnel (see pic below) so my theory is when you put say 30L in.. go for a drive around a tight right had corner the bulk of the fuel goes to the passenger side section and the gauge goes down to quarter... then go round a tight right hand corner and the fuel gos back in to the drivers side (where sender unit is) and the fuel guage goes back to half. THis must only be when you have a certain amount of fuel in it, any one else found this? Note: there is a pick up on the passenger side of the tank drive by a system where-by the return line fuel creates a vacuume and sucks up the fuel.
  9. haha, well its not reading correctly, goes crazy up and down, dosent read at all plenty of same issues on google, common as on BG leggies, found no real fix (yet)
  10. Hi, i have always had issues with my fuel guage in my BG5a leggy i am sure it must be a common fault with these cars, i did a wee search found nothing obvious.. b 4 i dive into this.. whats normally the problem? is it the sender in the tank or gauge itself? is there a known fix? cheers
