Wow subaru engines really last huh! Awesome to see these km figures. I feel more confident buying a 190km legacy turbo now

Are these engines water cooled or oil cooled? Also is it true that u don\'t need a turbo timer for watercooled engines? Cheers

Cheers bud! Unfortunately I haven\'t been able to test drive it yet as he has it in the workshop to get the clutch and cambelt etc replaced. It\'s done 190,000 but it\'s had work done to the engine about 5 years ago.

Hey guys, I just signed up to this page! I\'m going to view a legacy blitzen tomorrow. If everything is sweet I will be purchasing it, any advice on what to look out for? This will be my first time owning a Subaru so after tips from the gurus here ;D a bit about the car is it\'s a 5 speed manual with full leather interior and a bit of cosmetic upgrades and a STI cluster gauge installed. As far as I know the car is standard. When I check the car down I will check when cambelt was replaced, service frequency and I will give it a bit of gas to see that the turbos accelerate smoothly. Is there anything else to look out for? any tips would be appreciated Cheers guys, Kevin.
