  1. After getting Max. over too we just could not get it to come apart. Towed it to the garage up the road and they got it apart this morning. The input shaft rusted into the spigot bearing but is all sorted now. Thanks for your input guys
  2. I had this. The problem with the gc8 slave is that when its on the box the bleed screw is not the highest point. Remove the back bolt holding the slave and lift it forward when bleeding to get all of the air out. When I did that it fixed the problem
  3. Still completely stuck. removed the two lower studs from the engine so now the only thing between the box and the motor is the shaft but it just won't let go. Completely at a loss as what to do now????
  4. Can't see anything in there. Pushed the release bearing all the way to the clutch so fingers crossed this was the problem?
  5. So you think its the release bearing that has slipped down the shaft and golding the box in the clutch?
  6. Hey guys, Trying to drop my box and have everything unbolted and off of it but it just won't come apart. There is a large gap all around the bell housing but it just won't slide off the input shaft. Anyone have any tips/tricks? I have tried jacking it up/down, wiggling side to side, forcing it apart at the bell housing but it WILL NOT let go. Driving me completely nuts. Any input would be much appreciated Scoob

  10. Only reason I have to change is there are hair line fractures all through my stock one! So need to change to something. Thought if I have to change then may as well go to a lightened jobby but I'm not keen on spending 500+ when I could be spending that in other more needed areas. The car is just a toy so no commuting what so ever. Haven't even driven it this year

  15. 35mm Welding cable sent into the engine bay through the AC drain and then ground the negative to the chassis from the seat bolt with the heat resistant covering to eliminate any risk of fire
  16. I know and have known mates in the valet service. I would never, ever, EVER let a valet park my car. Some of the stories are just horrible.
  17. Great thanks very much for the info guys! Might have one for sale soon. Cheers!
  18. Just to clarify that's the motors running gear (intercooler, radiator etc) not the drive line
  19. Hey guys, Just wondering how much you would pay for a ej207 out of a v7 sti with all the running gear including turbo and down pipe. 160,000kms Cheers

Let me know if anyone is keen http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Subaru-WRX-Forester-STI-key-blank-57497FE000-/171628262540?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27f5d7748c&vxp=mtr
