  1. Email sent Bobby....

  2. I've kept all my cars bar three only had five since passing my drivers test. One was scrapped as it was a rot box that was my first car. The second written off in an accident and the third I sold when I moved over here, which I'm still kicking myself for.....😱😱 The two I've bought since moving out here my99 STI TypeR and my defender I'll not be getting rid of and I hope to pass on to family one day.......👍🏻👍🏻
  3. Mine was a Mk1 Vauxhall Astra (Holden out here) My first bit of independence so I could get out and about of the village where I grew up......😁😁
  4. In my opinion if somebody (well shitbag) is determined to take your pride and joy then no amount of security devices will stop them it will just slow them down....
  5. Bugger just realised that the wof is out of date.......Oh well it can wait until after Christmas......😝😝
  6. Thanks for for letting us know bud.....👍🏻👍🏻
  7. Should hopefully be there........👍🏻👍🏻
  8. My auntie had the 2.0l version as a company car back in the late 80's and yes agreed it was proper Fugly indeed.......😝😝😝 First performance car was a my96 V2 STI and had her for 10yrs and only sold her before I moved out here......👍🏻
  9. Nothing used to give me greater pleasure when back in the UK in my old job sticking people on for driving whilst using a mobile phone. Usually it wasn't the fine (£60) that the driver was bothered about it was the 3 points that went with it that was going to have some affect on next years insurance renewal. Ive seen worse driving into Wellington on the motorway a driver with her laptop open on her lap whilst driving. I was absolutely gob smacked.....😳😳😳
  10. Curbed one of my alloys on the way home from work.........😡😡😡
  11. That's gonna be a tricky one as we all believe that our own Scooby is the best in the country........👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 But their are some cracking examples around....
  12. Like a lot but the rims are shocking.........😳😳😳😳😳😳
  13. Looking very good thus far.......:):)
  14. Matt, I'd be happy to help you out but I won't know my shifts for February as yet. Mine is a 98 v5 STI TypeR fairly standard in looks.....
  15. Yup no worries I just used one of those conversion thingies on tinterweb......
  16. I had a My96 v2 STI back in the UK running Td05 16g,front mount, induction kit and factory injectors and she was running 325bhp which I think is around 243kw. Just thought it might be a little help..
  17. Another option is a really cold morning as winter is almost upon us with a hammer and chisel......
  18. Date depending and venue location i'd come along to learn anything maintenance wise for my scoob..... I think it would be a useful and enjoyable day out..... :)
  19. My guess is that it will either be stripped and parts sold off or its making its way somewhere in a container my guess would be Eurpoe. Professional car thieves will have the kit and know how to change the vehicles ID or even know somebody at its final destination with the know how. Whatever its a true shame as its a nice and as stated above a sought after model.....
  20. What a cracking write up there matey very much in-depth i suppose for your own piece of mind and for others that might wish to do the same conversion. Great keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing the final finished product.... :) Keep it up brilliant.....
  21. My guess would be stolen to order and as mentioned above placed into a container and shipped overseas......
  22. You have a well specked up Scooby there pal lots of very sweet parts and no doubt a lot of time and money gone into it. I'm taking a guess around the 12k to 14K mark but the sad thing is these days lots of people want everything for almost nothing these days and its only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. Also depends on how quickly you need it sold too. If your not in a hurry the right price will come around eventually.... :)
  23. Personally it seems that you have plenty of time and space in that cracking looking workshop. Id be tempted to pull to the engine take off everything thats salvageable and bin whats left. Then strip the engine down to the bare components then you can let the dog see the rabbit as it were. Then that will give you a better understanding of the engine and what you'll need to replace or upgrade...... :)
