Me and mate leaving Titahi Bay about 4.30am to meet guys at feilding motel at 6.30am

long range weather forecast is for cloudy but hardly no wind but can change

me and mate are thinking but weather dependant

All sorted quite a bit had to b removed lock bolted to handle.

WA told have to remove window tried without that but cant get into undo bolt.

Now alarm gone got replacement lock as one in drivers door don't work have to unlock passenger door then crawl over to unlock drivers side.

Does anyone know an easier way to remove lock from the drivers door on a 99 b4 legacy without pulling part of door apart

found the alarm to be playing up armed last night went to move car no disarm led in car no flash open door no siren, started car soon as i closed door car dies done twice heard chirp from siren tried to start took ages to start run rough, turned off led for alarm flashing disarmed and started car. maybe alarm is cutting ignition or fuel

Booked in for Tuesday get this issue sorted tidy body paint work then up forsale.

No fault codes going to put into my garage on Tuesday.

Now have different issues jigging about, lose power still moving but going not fast revs dropping low when stopped. Funny noises in engine bay when doing this any other ideas.

happens at any speed randomly cuts for 2 secs then carry s on running, lose headlights, power sterring also the steering and power light come on i hear relays under dash click when this happens, window is a after-market one previous ppl didn't clean it properly so over time it rusted then leaked. happens when penal down and not can happen when parked 1/4-1/2 tank gas i thought it may of been water near ecu but not sure

Yes to idle control valve on throttle body all new hosing for vac, replacement bbod as had stuck solenoid leaking air for 2nd turbo

Spark plugs iridium only dne 10000kms No vac leaks coil packs dunno got spares here but need knw code to see if same or not.

Off acceleration and on acceleration it happens factory bov idles different rpm under 800rpm not smooth idle can fell it at idle near new afm

Auto and yes mongoose alarm original one from when car arrived in NZ. NZ new car installed by mongoose nz

Hiccup stops for couple seconds then carry's on running. Lose power steering too.

So I reinstall replacement alternator no issues from drive yesterday but come to work turned a corner and cut out again any other ideas. Was told knock sensor how east to locate and with out removing other parts.

since posting this have got replacement alternator coming over night

I have a question. Driving along in my 99 be5 legacy twin turbo and I lose power to dash,headlights and steering and power light up for few seconds then back to normal done while stationary too. No CEL LIGHT either What could it be started recently had water leak left side through front window fixed now could it be a intermittent cpu fault?
