We use the Castrol in the rally car and we would have been one of the fastest synchro gearboxes in the nzrc this year until we had our accident and it's the oil we have had the best success with so far. Syntrax is a full synthetic compared to semi synthetic of universal (used to be called multitrax) I'm not saying motul is bad but we have had great success with Castrol and its what subaru nz recommend.
Get windows tablet with USB. Setup a new page In the software with new gauges set to what you want, set up the ranges. Set it to start in full screen and start software with windows start and set to automatic connection.
We run cusco diffs front and rear in the rally car, being a race car the diffs and gearbox get rebuild every 5000km or so but they knackered by then. At slow speeds everything binds up and is hopeless in car parks etc.
Koom and others have had poor results on single scroll with twin scroll housings. I'm not sure on single scroll housings sorry as they don't come factory with them. Twin scroll they are phenomenal. Just watch too small of a rear housing
Your onto it. 2.5. Avcs v7 sti heads ported and Chambers smoothed. Twin scroll. Meth injection as was struggling with det over 18psi without on 95 fuel
Mine had smoothed Chambers. Not fully machined out. And it was a hx35 7 blade 16cm as the 12cm I first had spooled too early haha. Full boost 27psi by 2300rpm.16cm was 2800rpm.
Tested eg bp. Also from tuners perspective but it's a little hard sometimes with the 2.5 being det prone. Yes it depends on the turbo. IMHO if you running T3 twin scroll go legacy. T4 go sti
I was running legacy sump, baffle plate and headers with my hx35 holset. Eg bp wasn't any higher than Josh on the sti headers. For 300wkw they are plenty big enough. The T3 twin scroll flange is perfect fit for 2x 38mm pipes to. Also the sumps and baffle plates are different internally from sti
