Hi all. I have a 98 Impreza. The auto is on its way out, and I'm looking at getting a replacement one from a wrecker and swapping it out myself. Has anyone done this before? How much of a prick is it? I'm aware its a pretty involved job, and I'm fairly good with mechanical stuff....but is it a DIY-able job? Or leave it to a shop? Any feedback is much appreciated! Cheers.
