I've changed the engine in a Datsun 120Y in 45 minutes, 3 blokes who know what they're doing, no crane other than the 2 biggest blokes! Activities like that could be why my back is now poked, but it was amusing at the time!

My old 2wd Legacy had different struts in teh rear, not sure about Impreza's.

I own a BH5 GTB RSRB, I even have the front bumper lip thingy, its in teh garage tho, because CHCH roads. It has the spoiler on the rear door, side skirts, and the grill thingy, not sure if the rear bumper is different? As far as I know its all purely cosmetic stuff, mechanically it seems to be identical to any other GTB.

Rebuilding the damper is, replacing the bushes is easy enough for someone of moderate mechanical skillz au!

I was going to do a "how to", including making the tool to get the bushes out and back in without munting them, when I do the ones in the Track Hack. Judging from current rate of progress, might be a while though...

Its not that had to change, just a pain in the arse. Its right at the back of the block under the intercooler etc, which entails removing a whole lot of stuff just to get in there.

Mine did that when the knock sensor was poked, but not quite poked enough to trigger a CEL.

Get 4 stands if you can, makes changing exhausts etc much easier.
