  1. Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone has run a twin scroll setup in a gc8 without avcs heads and what were the results like, in terms of turbo spool.
  2. Yeah I have a 02+ sti one mounts are the same but the connector is a little different
  3. Hey guys just wondering if anyone has hard wired a 3 port Grimmspeed ebcs on a gc8 since the connectors are different. Any help would me much appreciated
  4. Hey guys I am looking into upgrading the brakes on my 98 type r coupe to 04 Brembos 5x100. I've heard the front should bolt on fine but the rears may need brackets can anyone confirm this? Any help would be appreciated Cheers
  5. Oh right I kinda get how it can be set up now Going to be running a Link G4
  6. I know what you guys are telling me about the anti lag it's not really a necessity thats why I was thinking about having a switch for it so it's not on all the time, but if it is to much of a hassle then I guess I could always leave it out. For the FFS I was given two different ways to have it setup- ''If you wanted to run flat shifting every time you use launch control you wouldn’t need a speed sensor. To fit a clutch switch, wire in and set up, as well as fit a toggle switch to allow you to turn launch control on and off'' and ''If you wanted to run launch control with no flat shift function it is best to run a speed sensor so the link can de-activate the clutch switch once you start moving''. I won't be using FFS every time I drive the car so would you guys agree having it set up with the second option would be the way to go?
  7. Hahah guess if she blows she blows build it better next time
  8. We'll the car is a weekend/track car running a aftermarket turbo and the anti lag will be wired to a switch so it's not on all the time. My question is what's the difference between getting ffs setup and ffs without it setup, because it runs fine everytime I've done it without the tune. Just wanting to know because I've been quoted 5-700 to set up switches and wiring to ecu and I don't see the point if it isn't going to be much different than ffs without the setup
  9. Hey guys I am getting my car tuned in a few weeks and will be getting launch control and anti lag set. I am so looking at getting flat foot shifting setup. What are the benefits of getting this setup instead of not having it setup and flat foot shifting anyway. Cheers
  10. Hey guys I have a set of 16x8 +42 wheels to go on my 98 coupe. I am wondering what is the widest size tyre I will be able to fit. I will also be rolling the guards and getting adjustable suspension to help fitment of the wheels any help will be much appreciated. Cheers
  11. Sweet cheers will definitely look more tidy without the big loop
  12. I was wondering if it would be alright if I was to remove the hose from the top of the power steering reservoir and connect it directly to the metal hose like this - http://imageshack.com/a/img911/4185/ALzTJC.jpg
  13. Hi I am looking at upgrading the ecu in my Version 4 type r to a version 7 sti ecu. From what i'v read/heard I need the ecu, loom and a v7 cam sensor, is there anything else I would be needing? Also I will be running speed density.
