When I put Bilsteins in my '99 TS-R it was almost exactly the same height as the originals. So I bought some Tein lowering springs. They definitely stiffened the whole ride but made it handle far better than with stock springs.
It went from this, (Bilsteins, non-lowered):
To this, (Bilsteins, with the teins):
Lowered it about 30mm
On my '99 BH Wagon Ive taken the headlights out on various occasions and I never had to take the bumper off.
Just unscrew the three bolts and move it around until it comes out.....worked for me
Mind you my wagon didn't come stock with the HID lights so they could possibly be an issue for you.
As title says my current original tweeters in my BH5 (not McIntosh ones) are shagged and im gonna replace them. Anyone know where I can get some good tweeters that wil fit in the factory mount? ;D
Good News
I got around to checking the ground the other day and sure enough it wasnt connected properly, the end was moving around underneath the bolt that was supposed to be holding it down!!
Have fixed it now and the sub is once again humming out epic basslines ;D
Cheers for the advice.
Yea it goes on and off randomly. Also it isn't heating up have checked it and its not hot.
The other day though while the car wasn't moving I unscrewed the remote wire and then screwed it back in and the light went on then slowly faded off ???
Last night it turned on as I went over a speed bump.
So my 1200w sony subwoofer which has a sony 444w amplifier on it randomly goes on and off during a song.
It never used to do this and has only recently happened..the wiring is fine, but the problem is that the remote wire that switches the amp on is causing the problem as the LED light that shows the amp is on goes on and off ???
Does it sound like the amp is f*****?
Any thing else?
cheers
Fixed the squeaking coming from the Power Steering belt, turns out the idler bearing was loose and on an angle.
Also bought some Upper Engine Cleaner only $15!
