  1. Yea ive talked to subtech, they said I can use the auto downpipe but the mounts need modifying and also needs a dent to be put into the pipe, which is why I'm hesitant, so it doesn't rub against the box. Not an ideal option but I will go that path if anyone else didn't have any options.
  2. Hi, wondering if you guys know the best option Downpipe wise for a 2007 BP Legacy 6-speed Manual. I ask this because it seems subtech doesn't make a pipe for the 6-speed. Ive been quoted up about $800 to get one custom made which I feel is a little steep. The guy who quoted said it would be the biggest waste of money and would make no difference what so ever. What has other 6-speeders done?
  3. Is there anyway to disable that feature? Ive found that imprezas and foresters have hidden options to switch to pass through mode which could be what I am after. But I haven't found anything about this for legacys with the kenwood units. I have just replaced my rear speakers and there is no bass what so ever coming out of them.
  4. Hi, I have been upgrading my speakers in my BP SpecB over the weekend and have noticed something unusual about the speakers balance. Its kind of hard to describe by I shall try my best. When the balance is set to 0 the front speakers are louder than the rear by quite a lot. Have to put ear right next to the rear speakers to hear them. If you start to fade the level more to the rear the volume of the rear speakers increase while lowering the volume of the front speakers. This is what I find strange. On the other end if you fade the level more to the front the front speakers don't increase they just stay the same and the rear speakers lower. This is what I expected. So really to get the perfect balance I need to set them more to the rear and then increase the over all volume to compensate. Does this sound normal to anyone else?
  5. Yea it will definitely be a 2L ill be getting. Redline performance say the exhaust is for a 2L even though the exhaust was designed for the 2.5L Aussie Liberty. Won't be surprised if some modification will be needed. Had to with my xforce on the commodore too.
  6. Ah true so its not like the dirty commodores where their tunes are gimped from factory haha. Ill probably get the exhaust done, just as long as i can find one i like the sound of. Anyone tried out the Xforce? I had Xforce on my Commodore.
  7. Im in the same boat as the OP. Just sold my V8 Commodore Sedan. I want a wagon and it seems that the facelift BP5 is the way to go. Have been tossing up if the Bspec over the GT is worth the extra money. In most cases its quite a lot more. I love the idea of the 6speed but even then i prefer the GT front end over the BSpec. So ill probably go for the GT. I noticed someone say about getting the ecu remotely flashed. Whats the deal with that? How much extra power would you expect?
