  1. I did this like 2 years ago and it worked mint - I even made a 'how to' on this forum but photobucket F***ed us all and now the pics are gone so it's not a lot of help anymore.... It does exactly that - when you plug the adapter in and before you re-install the unit just flick the key on and test it quickly You don't need to do anything else - just plug it in and the AUX button on your stereo will automatically work
  2. There is a prerequisite which needs to be met before you can list an item for sale on our forum - the prerequisite is a post count of 10 (your already 10% of the way there) Once you have a post count of 10 the classified section will open up and posts will become visible
  3. I tried two different ones from Ripco (one was 'Gear Up' brand and the other was Repco branded) Had them on the race car when it was on axle stands outside - Both were utter S*** for outdoor use - neither of them lasted through the weather at all If they were used inside then they both would of probably been fine....
  4. It wont be coolant level related. Get someone to plug in to your ecu and see what the codes were
  5. D2's are all good. Had mine in for close to 3 years now and haven't had any issues. I haven't cut the metal guards in the front because I've never really had a rubbing issue. Probably because I run a smaller tyre. Just roll the F*** out of them while being mindful of the plastic clips. Then trim a bit of plastic liner and the inner edge of the flare. The rears' simple. Roll them and bash with a hammer. Cover bash marks with a bit of paint and your done. I haven't changed the upper control arms in my car yet either - currently just the stock outback ones with butchered legacy bumpstops. The clearance between the two is almost non existent (therefore limiting the travel of the rear shocks) so it would be advisable to change to either stock legacy arms or some camber adjustable ones.
  6. Undecided - might just leave it how it is for a while longer yet (but yes I am having those thoughts too) I've almost reached a record though - I'm a few days off 3 years with the same car! Usually someone has stolen my car by now lol
